I admire the fact that U2 reinvented themselves, but I always liked them more on and before The Joshua Tree. The energy was focused in a different direction, apparently.

I don't remember the band roster for the Us Festival, but how many other bands that played that weekend are still together, still making great music, still relevant. U2 stands alone!

Some say the Live Aid performance brought U2 to worldwide attention, although I liked U2 prior to this performance, to me this performance is the one that did. An Cat Dubh/Into the Heart is one of my favorites to see them perform. Thanks KJ64
