Depends on the healers. If they can keep the tanks up, it doesn't matter, though they will take an insane amount of damage from time to time. Atleast full Karazhan gear is to prefer.
Hehe. I do some 3k bloodthirst/HS in raids sometimes as we've got 2x enhancement shammies, so yeah possible you saw a 2.9k HS. I'm usually top3 on damage if everything goes my way.
The slam, I was just trying a 3/58/0 fury spec or smthing like that, just threw 2 points into imp slam to try it, but kinda sucked. Was nothing serious and it's nothing that's to the ordinary.
Give us a shot at the dpsmeter next time ^^ looked like you were doing a decent amount... and I think I saw a 2.9k HS not too shabby for a dualie. Oh and I'm curious as to the use of slam, what's that about?
The one with most hp should tank bearphase I believe, as it's only bleeddamage and it can't be dodged/parried/blocked/reduced by armor when the bleed is on. Anyone can tank either phase as long as the healers can keep up.
You can keep nuking, there's no threatreset. He's tauntable, so the assigned tank (1 tank for first phase, 1 for 2nd phase) just taunts when he switches phase.
Afaik, Taunt works like this: When you taunt, mob gets a debuff. The tank who taunted has as many seconds as the debuff is up to make more threat than the one that's 1st on threat. I.e: When tank x taunts, tank y stops producing threat for a few sec. Piece a cake.
Taunt applies a debuff and places you equal first on the top of their threat list (maybe slightly above but only slightly). AFAIK, for the small amount of time the debuff is displayed - the mob is forced to stay aggroed on whoever taunted it. When that debuff disappears it considers who is highest threat and he will aggro onto them. So it's possible as a DPS to reaggro after a mob was just taunted off you but it's very rare.
This boss dont got 2 much hp so bring there the biggest dps-es like destro locks / arc/fire mages and will be fast

Pugged him last night one shot. Pretty easy if your tank pays attention. Shouldn't take too many wipes if you new.
Agrothylos I love your style in music Those are all 5 star songs on my itunes.

blah blah blah... this fight is purely tank and spank, aside from a few positioning points at the beginning and tank switching

its a rather easy boss Id say, we had actually more trouble with the trash group next to him, hehe!
But we downed him on 3rd try, kara and pre-kara geared ppl, (some even had green and blues) But as the vid. says, needs two good tanks.

Nice work : Should DPS stop between phases ? Or will the 2 MT's be able to swap agro easy ? Ie. was the tank rotations easy ?
trancerau 4 years ago
Just DPS through. Think of it threat wise as if one tank was tanking. Aggro doesn't reset it just gets swapped between the two tanks when they taunt.
