  • Eating a beautiful fish that is near extinction.. Leave it to the Asia.

  • @LmNutZ the arowana is from Asia, so why the fuck do you care.

  • @lobsidedballs I don't know, because I do? If the fish died then by all means, eat it if you want.

  • waaa...this fish is malaysiagolden....why you eat ar...this fish thousand money ooo

  • at leas I know how to cook my fish when he passes...

  • We have 2 species of arowana here in Queensland Australia. They can be caught for food, but mostly for sport. They jump well. To eat they are very boney and often have a muddy taste. I prefer barramundi.

  • hes preparing dinner for bill gates

  • this ship is normal

  • omg that was my pet!!!! LOL

  • although i respect the right for people to eat food im still a little sad seeing a beautiful fish like this.

  • must b a poor or rejected quality aro.

  • I think that would have been a good pet... Alas like they say in india, went to the pet

    (stomach) :P

  • hello hello hello, fuck you

  • This must be a $1,100 dinner.

  • Wow, what a waste, I would have gave you a fair amount of money for that fish, and not to eat! What a shame.

  • @webdesign212 maybe it died dumbass, and they wanted something different for dinner

  • grosss........................

  • Its just like a bass to them...They don't get all obsessed w/ 'm, cuz they are native fish there. They probably think keeping 1 as a pet is a stupid waist of money. It looks pretty tasty even... I'm gonna buy 1 soon though so it is a bummer to see sum1 eat wut would be a $3-500 fish (*if it was alive)

  • @johnnywaters9999 not that much? 3500$? abit overpriced aint it :S its not even that big

  • @dondipa no I meant $300-$500 but I just typed $3-500. I'm probably wrong anyway, I live in japan so prices may very, I just bought a 1yr old silver bout 8"-10" long. hes got pink fins & green pearl in his scales & gills, really cool fish 4 bout $60, is that a good price (u think?) or did I get ripped of?

  • @johnnywaters9999 yeah a good price. but i dont think arowans are like 300$ not really sure ... they might be the very large ones

  • and i was jk about eating my arowana, it did died but still with me in my freezzer

  • Oh I thought u was going to kill it... Sorry bro!

  • ill eat it.... if it died first.... thats what i did to my silver arowana and let me tell you there meat tastes just like some delicious salmon with the right ingredients, and he was a 30", enough for the whole family

  • Fuk that man! I dont know why freaking people want to eat something like that! Shit man! Who the hell r u?? U want me to kill u or what? Fuk u! God damn it! How do u feel If i cook you! U moran! Go home and eat urs damn pussy! Fuk that shit! If i know where u from I'll just kill u ! Fuck! Son of a bitch! Drink ur mama pee! Fuck u mother bitch!@@@
  • shut the fuck up you little fagget ass bitch, i said IF IT DIED FIRST...not like imma just kill an beautiful arowana just to eat em.... you stupid fuck...

  • @CrazyArowanaKeeper u can come n find me n my cousin at penang, malaysia...

  • Wow i think it was a RTG!

  • that got to be the most expensive dinner for me... that fish worth about 5,000 USD in the U.S. An endanger fish that is banned in the USA is being eaten in asia for dinner. thats some shit LMAO

  • and this is why we cant have em in the US

  • I mean the guy who cooked the arowana dude....

  • I guess the saying that " they'll eat anything with legs except table and chairs and anything with wings except aeroplanes" turn out to be true huh?

  • the asian aros r ez to breed, just one farm in asia that can breed thuosand of the fishes every year, not mention there r thousand of farms like these across asia...they r no longer endanger specie to my point of view, therefore having one or 2 for lunch is common.. i wonder why they category these fish as endanger specie.. Sighsss.

  • everybody bitches and moans about how they are endangered..have you seen the videos of the fish farms they got out there?

there must be hundreds of thousands of arowana, constantly breeding and being renewed...why is he eating this one? I don't know, it don't matter, the arowana is only so expensive outside of asia...the most beautiful ones are always costly, but they are bought by collectors, not just

some random guy to take it home and eat it..youz get to uptight..and for what??

  • my guess, is his house got a black out n the fish died. so why waste, just cook it to the plate... hehehe

  • hahaha this crack me up

  • Comment removed

  • fuck off u racist cunt!! arowana is a fish and is still food u fucking cunt

  • i wonder why they've decided to eat it when it's so expensive. o.O

  • I would eat an arowana!! yumm

  • I don't think that fish is worth eating.

Think about the opportunity costs of that. lol

  • @orangePHX these arowana are wild species. they are not expensive.

  • @davejued

    Red Arowana.

    That's an ENDANGERED species.

  • @OrangePHX plenty in asia

  • actually that type of arowana is an endangered species and costs over $300

  • wow that tank is way to small for an arowana

  • how can like this!!!

    eat this fish nb

  • sorry for my spelling errors.

  • It's kind of anoying that to keep them here, you need a permet cause they are endangered, though, they are now captive breed in great numbers now. So it's anoying cause I really want one. Though I don't currently don't feeling like getting off my ass and paying thousands of dollars and filling out a permet.

Oh well it probobly tasts very good, I just like complaining :)

  • thats a 500 dolla meal where i live...

  • How sick!

  • wow , an expensive dinner ever !!!!!!!!

  • my neiighbor travels that travels the world as he works for an oil company says that arowana are delicios.

  • wow loook Delicious lol

  • /Amused, clearly a moron, i stand by my previous statement, The only time i used the word "while" was quoting someone. Learn to read, before you dare impune others ability to interpret. As for the fish, any one with a brain stem, knows, the asians are constantly defacing their original state as found in the wild. Example, do you think you will find an Emperor Aro in the wild? I am not here to try educate idiots i know that is not possible, merely here to laugh at you, so go ahead. Amuse me more:)

  • do you realize how idiotic u made urself look. i understand u got affended and u misunderstood my use of the word "while" any retard can see that. you are the one who needs educating, dont argue somthing you know little about.

    much peace

  • @strigata before you try insult me, learn to spell, before you insult my grammar, and i might be inclined to actually notice you..

  • and dude, if that is your hypothesis, i dare you to try dignify eating snails by that means. Some things are clearly edible, and others arn't. Its just pretty sterotypical, boardering Ironic, that these fiends seem to enjoy eating pets... And Yes, I eat beef, not take it up my ass, like some... :) - Regards

  • no actually, "Stupid", I am actually allergic to all seafood. :)

  • @SireSymbol88 this is not seafood... this is fresh water food u jack ass!!!!! BOOOO

  • Comment removed

  • @KawaiiKatsuke you replied to an 11month old post... Grats. And did not have any relevance..

  • @KawaiiKatsuke freshwater food is called seafood you jackass!!!! BOOOO

  • @KawaiiKatsuke dont mind him... he's just a POSER!!

asian arowana is expensive even in asia... if you talking about... RTG, red and golden x-back species... u are paying USD1,000 - 3,000 per piece for a young one... size 4" - 10".... price for a size more than 12" can be phenomenal.. and is depended on the pattern of the body and colour of the scales...

the only reason for the dudes ate their arowana was because the fish already dead!!!

    kapish...!!!

  • fucking gooks, will eat anything wont they....

  • Hey Stupid! You eat fish too don't you? Where do you think they came from?

  • Just because you happen to like arowana doesn't make the person eating it bad. You eat beef, which is sacred to Hindus....what does that make you?

  • @tancho when a large group of people drive thousands of fish and aquatic mammal species to go extinct every year, then yes it does make the person bad.

  • is it yummy?!

  • that very cruel you schould go to hell for thst why not cut your own dick and fry it in the frying pan

  • stupid gay cookery

  • Noooooo i want it in my tank :(

  • just so use all know while arowana are endangered in there native country they are a common pest species in others, and its only one or two strains that are endangered. besides all that if the asian arowana is anything like Saratogas there shit eating.

    so stop being so sentimental

  • you truely are, moronic, There is no such fish as the""while"arowana, and neither is there a White, arowana, before you go spinning shit, learn to research :) the fish in the video is Silver, and is worth about 11dollars in my country.

  • SireSymbol88 i think you are the moron, learn the english language "while" is not a noun, in a sentence "WHILE i was reading your moronic reply the phone rang". that is and asian arawana not a south american silver arowana. you need to do your research . peace to u my friend

    the end :)

  • SireSymbol88 that is NOT a silver arowana. Just compare the anal fin to see the difference

  • their actually IS a white arowana. you tube: platinum arowana. it is very expensive, but very beautiful

  • For sure this fish just died and the guy decided to cook it. You are just as dumb if you try to decide to serve this in you restaurant. You can make shit load of money selling this fish alive.

  • Theres so many of them in Asia, Im sure the fish was already dead! even if it was not dead, at least he was not killing it for fun, and it was not going to waste.

  • i have to eat arowana at least once a week...if not i just don't feel right. Being endangered won't stop me...i work at a pet store and i raise them myself.

  • i have one red arowana just die n i just burial my fish at my nearer park i would't eat my pet

  • I truly hope there is a reason for this, such as a poor native family that are desperate are eating this to survive. Otherwise, why eat an endangered species??? I understand it is a food source for native people, but, if they want it to be able to rely on it for the future, people who can avoid eating it have no business doing so. The fact that this person recognized that this would even be of interest to post on youtube says he's probably not the starving native, but just wants attention.

  • i find that the pearl arowana taste the best in terms of taste

  • It better taste like thousands dollar meal.

  • LOL @ 0:48 OMG LOL

HAWO, HAWO, HAWO?, Ha, HA HAAAAA

  • omg u see that is why asian arowanas are endangered. and because they're endangered, our US government banned them from the US.

  • makes lobster looks like something from a dollar store

  • Hmm..Penang Hokkien? Penang lang ah? Nice dinner. Chinese new year argh?

  • yeah babe.. tat's my cousin... we r penang lang...

  • they ether really cheep out there or they stole it from a local arowana framer

  • isnt that a jardini super red arowana?damn 1 f-ckin' expensive dinner gotta be 600$

  • jardini and super red are two different arowanas..

  • jardini is the australian one, and is silver.

  • Jardini IS the australian correct, but is not silver. Jardini are common to be shades of green, black, and a bit of goldish.

Trust me, i know my stuff :)

Silver arowana, which are the lowest, are still considered as a type of asian arowana.

  • yeah true. Btw can i ask something? i have a 3 year old red tail golden arowana, but the colours havent shown up yet. What is wrong? I feed it live gold fish twice a week, and other fish food. thanks.

  • This has nothing to do with it but, how big is your arowana?

anywho, you should have a black background around the tank, and feeding twice a week is horribly bad. Should feed it everyday, but not feeder gold fish. They are bad in nutrients and just plain o' fat. Try to have a variety of foods and he will grow like a monster.

Should feed him dried shrimp which will help the coloration of the scales BIG TIME.

if you have any other questino feel free to privte message me :)

  • try feeding it lizards and centipedes

depends on what you feed it

  • arowanas are from south america!!!!

  • you said "arowanas" which means that you are implying to all arowanas...

if so, not true, should not jump into conversations if you do not know what you are talking about.

  • WTF DATS GONNA BE SHIT ASS EXPENSIVE

  • That better taste good.

  • oh my god....really expensive dinner....

  • Seem like Green Arawana from Thailand. I believe they are speaking Thai. It is Arawana, look at the Head, body, fin, and tail. Damn $2500.00 Dinner.

  • yo bro, it's hokkien...

  • no its not! sounded like cantonese in the beginning then like thai but definitely not fookien/hookien...

  • do u know hokkien? if not please don talk so much... his my cousin n who is more clear about it.. change speaker la if u can't listen clearly

  • I've spoken it for over 3 decades, so don't know if it qualifies me as someone who "knows" the language.

  • hmm.. 3 decades huh.... seems like u have been learning a language with a wrong name... what about calling me a master so that i teach u wat is called HOKKIEN??? if u still think that u i'm wrong, then u can start finding a tuition class that teach hokkien.

  • it's not chinese i think they are some sinpore or some other asia

  • malaysian la dude....

  • What is that.. Cantonese?

  • this is his dead pet :O

CHO MI SU !! wO TAN ZhE EH TUI cHu !lol

  • Nah they were just seasoning it... afterward they will just throw it away, or... maybe not? :? dunno.

  • Arowanas might be expensive in the US, but at home in India, you can get a decent yellow tail for as little as 300Rs.. that is less than 7$

  • I don't think there's any arowana in India.

  • Neither do Piranhas.. but you can buy them.. I guess they are probably imported

  • That's not even a Arowana

  • If that's not an arowana, what would that be? A sea bass? LOL...

  • Probably but yet again... you never know

  • @ctm94070

i happen to eat arowana on a weekly basis,

every sunday me and my family buy 4 from the aquarium and eat them with fried chips.

we live in melbourne in australia...

  • omg bro haha

  • It is not good to eat dead pet from your aquarium tank,

fish food pellets and all chemicals you put inside your tank is not mean for human consumption. The fish blood and meal may contain toxin.

  • I don't like this video. Why you eat arowana? Sure, I can't understand. I'm sad..:)

  • oh,my god,crazy fucking guy............

  • I guess its normal in other countries to eat fish that we consider to be of great value. Who knows...maybe someone in the world would think its a sin to eat bass or perch :D.

  • Don't be so quick to judge, it was probably a pet fish and died(maybe jumped out of the water), then they cooked it up, I'm pretty sure they did not spend thousands of dollars just to eat it.....

  • finally, someone who thinks before they type a comment lol

  • hhow sick for you people to eat something that has seen so many eolution in the world and it is an endangered species

  • I have to roll my eyes at the comments. You guys might consider them as pets, but arowanas are abundant in Asia, so Asian's eat them. Period! Americans are such ignorants...I'm embarrassed to be one.

  • i'll roll my chinky eyes too lol

  • lol

  • u shit heads. those fish cost like 10000 bucks!!!

  • I hope one day someone does that to you, you dumb fuck...

  • that fish is not so lucky anymore and thats one expensive meal

  • it your speciality

  • it your speciality

  • yummmyyyyyyy

  • haha, me!! me!!
