If I am out with a guy and ask him if a girl is cute and he says yeah and he thinks that she is cuter than me, well good for her because he is with me not her :) If I ask that question it would be jokingly or mess with the guy about thinking another girl is cute.

it does suck that we females do this stuff but it is true so i'm happy to say i have a man that is more truthful then he should be.what is nice is he doesn't lie and i am able to take the truth. he has told me before i'm lazy and i looked at him and said that i know that and he loved me but then i got up and cleaned the kitchen. and he tells me other women are prettier than me and like an adult i take it with a shrug.

Well I honestly think it's stupid to ask stuff that they don't wanna hear the truth to. I wouldn't ask about how he thinks about another girls. It should be enough that the guy's with YOU. As with problems, (not saying this justifies it), it might be because they don't think you will know how to deal with their feelings, cuz guys aren't socialized to deal with feelings.
The only lies that really irritate me are when guys (or people in general) pretend you're more important to them than they are.

Girls say its okay when its not for the same reason men say she isnt pretty when she is.
To avoid drama. Both sexes have taught eachother to lie, thats the curse. Just my opinion though.

I feel that pretty much everything you said was pretty spot on, especially about how most women in general are non-confrontational, because I know that I am, but I ask him if he thinks other girls are pretty anyway (jokingly) because he always says that I'm lucky I'm not a guy because I'd like ugly girls -___-

Not every woman wants a man to lie.. I'd rather be hurt by the truth than flattered by a lie :( I want honesty, I believe thats is one of the main structures of a relationship. Just because a guy thinks a girl is pretty or whatever, as long as he holds onto you and dont cheat or treat you like crap, I see no problem with guys being honest. It doesn't hurt me because someone is pretty, I'm with him, he comes home to me....so why get so worked up over a comment?

I agree with you to an extent. For a woman to do that and purposely antagonize drama, it is ridiculous. I believe honesty is key in a relationship, so if she were to ask a question like that then she should get the truth in return. However, this cannot be an excuse for every incident.

Some men lie for the reason of hiding something or someone. Women do the same exact things. I hope you're not classifying all women as such, because there are quite a few that are not like this. It seems like girls who do this, purposely want to start drama or purposely agitate men. Crap is wack.

I believe the same thing about honesty inside a relationship, but you ladies always have your days when you feel fat, ugly, or whatever, and when men tell you the truth, it wrecks your self-esteem and then everyone feels bad.
