@Kewlhurt I generally help privateers as teams have their own staff. I haven't been to many AMA events this year but am in the planning stages with 675.net for a track day at NJMP this Fall.

What is the point of a single throttle cable as opposed to the two you see on most other bikes?

Two cables offer redundancy. One cable pulls, the other pushes. The push is the safety cable if you will, to make sure the throttle returns to the off position. On race bikes, we only use the pull cable because we constantly maintain them with cable lube and maintain the throttle linkages.
