This happened in Kaziranga in Assam, India. That is a rogue tigress attacking the crew who were trying to dart her so as to relocate to the jungle core area. She was a cattle killer. They missed a few times and in the end she lost her cool and attacked the elephant. The mahout lost 3 fingers but lived to tell the tale. I hope this helps. These people were sent to bring the tiger and her cubs back. thep roblem here was, that the cubs were not where the mother left them. She in turn, as oyu can iamgine, was not in the brightest of moods after she couldn't findh er cubs. i went to kaziranga national park in india were the video was taken and actually met this ranger, he is out of bounds now and two fingers of his right hand were cut of, but he is ok and doesn´t even think that this was the tigers fault. he´s just happy to be alive.

Hey this is not in thailand. This is rea video from north east Indian forests. The tiger is a Royal Bengal Tiger. The tiger was searched by a two teams of forest officials on two elephants. Well imagine the left hand slap of the tiger and the jump from low laying paddy soft muddy field. In this case only he sustained severe injuries on his waving hand. Tiger was chased away by the two elephants.
