@dclaver2 I would argue just the opposite. Most wars in the world are NOT caused by religion. World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Iraq War, Revolutionary War, Civil War, Afghani-Russian War, etc. had NOTHING to do with religion... Politics, Power, Money and Land.
@IslamOnDemand The Crusades, the massacring of Native Americans in the 1500s, the holocaust, some parts of WWII, 9/11, conflict between Israel and neighboring states, and fundamentalist organizations. You could call Fundamentalist Muslims not real Muslims, but they were motivated by Islam, Islam is what motivates them to kill so many people, the bible is what motivated the crusades to kill people. Religion causes hatred towards one and another, and a motive to kill someone over your beliefs.
@IslamOnDemand I do agree that politics, power, money, and land are also a motive for war, but the fact that people would actually be willing to kill themselves in the pursuit of killing as many people as possible, in order to send a message about their beliefs, is just savage like. I know that it's only a very small percent of people who do that, but I don't know any atheists that would be willing to kill themselves because other's don't believe in evolution.
@IslamOnDemand There's also one question that I don't think any religious book can answer, How did we get race? We started off with Adam and Eve, many paintings and pictures show them as white, so then how did we end up with very dark skinned blacks, and asians?
If god flooded the world, waters higher than Mt. Everest, it killed all life on earth, How was there still oxygen, and how was there still life for the animals to live off of when the flood was over? What about the carnivores?
@dclaver2 You have generalized all the three Abrahamic faiths. Jews and Christians have to answer for promoting a White Adam and Eve. And also destruction of the entire world by Noah's flood. And the age of the earth being at most 10,000years old.
Islam does not make these claims. Noah's flood only covered a small portion of the world. The earth's age is not mentioned. But creation of the universe is. And Adam's and Eve's race(s) is unknown. Qur'an and Bible(OT) are two different books
Is is not true that Prophet Mohd. PBUH, proclaimed the Banu Hashim to be his people and to be superior? Is it not true that Arabic is god's chosen language and the language considered superior by the prophet?
@ahmrou82 Do you understand how in america speaking about preventing war is somehow being against the troops? You can't utter a word against war without being branded as a pacifist troop hater. I find this very frustrating!
At some point, the liberal Islamic youth will have to wrest leadership from the middle eastern schools of Islam and the present a secular ideal. Obviously its hard for young people to speak up against their teachers but that's what it going to take.

You can see now that who elect islamic parties are the young peope. but that's not mean giving them a free ticket. we want a good models.
Hm, regarding Israel and palestine: Is the speaker saying, that islamic antisemitism is the fault of Israel? In my view he should have expatiated on that, especially on the religious justifications of muslim antisemitism, as it is existent today (Sahih Muslim, 41:6985 for example).
