as a big time mizzou fan i hold a lot of respect for Mike Anderson, he took our time from the ashes to become a competitive elite basketball school.  the only thing i was mad about was the way he left. he said he wanted to stay a tiger for years to come and left a week later. not to mention the fact that he didnt even bother to do a press confrence. but im over that now. good luck in arkansas and i hope to someday play u guys.

As a Mizzou fan. You felt betrayed. You felt like the unwanted step son. It was hard. He had just said that he wanted to retire here. You felt stabbed in the back. 

As time has passed, you understood more. He really was "coming home." This was the one job that CMA would have Mizzou for, and I truly believe that. Whether he is a great bball coach or not, that remains to be seen, but Arkansas gained, and Mizzou lost, a great PERSON when Mike Anderson came back.

As Mizzou fan I'm thankful for what CMA did for us. I understand why he returned to Arkansas however the way in which he went about it was less than impressive for a coach I once thought to be one of the classiest in all of college basketball. If you're going to leave don't spend three weeks telling the school you're at that you are staying.

I'm a die hard Mizzou fan and I hold no ill will towards CMA. He left us in a better condition than when he arrived.  I totally understand him wanting to be in Ark. It sucks but we will find another up and comer with a system we'll come to love.

I dont live in Arky anymore (minnesota now), but im still a die hard Hog, and im so glad that we got Anderson back to get us back to where we were. I tell you this, he will have us back in a final 4 in under 5 years, you can bet that. Hes a winner, thats all he does. This is Nolan all over again, all the good and none of the bad lol. I miss Nolan alot, as he was the hogs coach when i was a little boy(mid 80s).
