my thoughts of the film, yes the dialogue was awful and the story may have been weak, but at the same time it's a michael bay film what do you expect? and secondly thought the plot may have been weak, at the same time, when in the hell have the transformers ever had a compelling story, when it comes down to it it's just robots at war, there is nothing deep or serious about the transformers at all (except for optimus dying) like he said its a summer blockbuster, i like both movies

I thought Transformers was a great film (one of my favorites) but ROTF was dissapointing. The best parts are the fight scenes, the dialogue between the robots, the effects and the soundtrack. Not all of the acting was great. (specifically Megan Fox. Sure she is pretty, but she is a skank and I thought she acted better in the first film) The twins hogged to much screen time, and the main antagonist of the film (whose name is in the title) barely makes an apperance in this film. I give ROTF 6/10.

I like your review, but I like the movie even less than you do. I thought the action was very poorly directed with the swooping camera and the close up shots. That combined with the fact that most of the robots were grey, made for some very confusing and chaotic action scenes. I also didn't care about any character in this movie, so the action isn't very suspensful either.
I also like the first Transformers, which is flawed, but a lot. I think this one is downright awful.

Micheal Bay has been told by his critics that he puts to many stereotypes in his movies. Like in the first transformers when sam's getting his car and the car salesmans arguing with his mum. Or in the second one with the twins. He puts these stereotypes in for comedy but its just not funny

@TomJonah they also say that megatron and the other decepticons where thrown into the sea and crushed by the depth-pressure which would have made sense, but then in the second movie the decepticons are almost unharmed and being guarded as if they somewhere in the time between the two movies said to themselves: "you know, they probably got crushed, but, just to be on the safe side, let's spend gazillions of dollars and go down there to guard their remains"

I like your review, but I like the movie even less than you do. I thought the action was very poorly directed with the swooping camera and the close up shots. That combined with the fact that most of the robots were grey, made for some very confusing and chaotic action scenes. I also didn't care about any character in this movie, so the action isn't very suspensful either.
I also like the first Transformers, which is flawed, but a lot. I think this one is downright awful.

If you have Kids i Strongly recommend you dont let them watch it. PG-13! I wouldnt let my 16 yr old watch it! This movie is sexually explicit, has a ton of bad language, and portrays bad behavior to be totally fine! This movie attracts younger kids! Whoever Rated this movie should be Sued!!!

Right lets just clear some things up for you:
1.the whole idea of Transformers was STOLEN by Hasbro the toy company from a Japanese Anime called Macross in the 80s.
2.The transformer Known as Jetfire or Originaly Skyfire Gen1.was a direct COPY of a Macross Valkarie fighter jet.
3.Hasbro were threatened with COURT ACTION for copyright infringement by the Japanese company who make Macross.
4.That is why the Gen2. Jet Fire looks nothing like original.

Hey Kirbypuff, heres a youtube video for you to watch. The One on the right is a MACROSS VALKARIE the one on the left is the Jet Fire that Transformers STOLE from the Valkarie model design. Transformers were going to be taken to court for copying Anime Designs. So just remeber Kirbypuff me and Tripwireguys know allot more about Transformers than you.
