why the goverment chose ninh thuan to be located to build nuclear power plant, why the goverment chose tay nguyen to exploit bauxite? why every dangerouse thing have to locate in central vietnam ? cuzz more minorities living thier ? The waste produced from nuclear power plants is radioactive. Some scientific studies suggest that there is an increased rate of cancer in people who live near nuclear power plants due to long term exposure to low levels of radiation released from nuclear power plant
Chinaco Bauxite in Nhan Co Dak Nong-Tan Rai Lam Dong Highland Central Vietnam!!! There will be disaster like in China? Thiều Quan, Trung Quốc ? Hell in Guinea
On Monday December 07, 2009 I Drove Motor Bicycle from Duc Lap-Dak Miln to Gia Nghia-Dak Nong, on Highway 14. I asked a men near Gia Nghia. Where is a place Bauxit in Nhan Co? No one know. Khong co Mo Thiec Nhan Co o day..
of course the vietnamese regime would not even hestitate to strip the montagnards of their lands. it's basically ethnic cleansing of the region. now, with the introduction of bauxite mining to this verdant region, i'll be surprise if the commies decide to come up with environmentally and socially sound policies.
first of all, the export of cofee forced many montagnards to lose their land and livelihood. many protested but were imprisoned, tortured and exiled. for us to believe that any compensation will given to the native people is straight foolishness. vietnam is only continuing it's agenda of genocide through poverty.
the vietnamese people suffer from the lack of a better government. The communist government fought for their country's sovereignty and yet not one Vietnamese person today can say they are proud of their country nor of being a native Vietnamese. It's embarrassing. there is such a large margin between the poor and the wealthy in Vietnam. There is no infrastructure, no proper sewage or even basic necessities such as running water. pathetic. I have never been more ashamed of being Vietnamese.
Yea how can we allow foreigners to invade our country, destroy it and take away the livelihood of our people. Oh wait, we already did it it with the French and the U.S...
Obviously this is very unsettling news! How can we allow for a foreign company to invade our country, destroy our environment, take away the livelihood of our people and endanger the lives of generations to come? Vietnam is such a beautiful country and we should be doing everything we can to preserve it!
agreed, but what is everyone going to do to keep this from happening... we must be proactive about this. Awareness is good, acting on that awareness is critical!
