It's like on my bucket list, I feel like only he could bring that on finally but of extreme emotion to the show. Funny, I stumbled to your wedding video and found the "In the Heights guys". Then I found this video. Christmas 2010 my first visit to NYC, I wanted to see a Broadway show that captured New York's spirit or had a NYC pulse. Was recommended "In the Heights" and LOVED IT. Had my video camera and I wanted to capture the final song, to bring home to Canada, but was afraid to turn it on. Now I have this. Come visit us in Toronto. Love your creative spirit and raw energy. I saw the show during its last two weeks open on Broadway. One of the most amazing shows to ever hit the Broadway stage and it's a shame that it didn't run longer than it did. Still, this show has affected the lives of millions of people in the best way possible. Thank you so much Lin-Manuel Miranda for writing such a beautiful masterpiece. Lin, I wanted to see this off-Broadway. However, I had a girlfriend who lived on 163rd and Ft. Washington who once day in 2005 decided that she wanted to be an EX-gf. After that day, anything Washington Heights related was like kryptonite to me. Didn't want it. Didn't want to deal with it. Well, I got over that long ago, but never took a serious opportunity to see the show. Well, that changed yesterday. I saw the next-to-last matinee. Life-changing experience, and I wish I had seen it sooner. :)

I saw Heights on March 13, 2008. I walked into the theater with absolutely no expectations and really no idea what I was about to experience. I remember the lights coming up for intermission and being glued to my seat, absolutely speechless & inspired. After the show (of course I sobbed) I had the opportunity to meet LMM. I don't remember what was said - I may not have said anything, honestly - but I hope he knows how much his little show has changed the world. No pare, sigue, sigue indeed.
Lin, I can honestly say that this is the best show I've ever seen on Broadway. And no other Broadway show will take the number one spot. I saw it twice and each time I laugh hysterically and cry. The show is so intense and empowering and the music is beautiful. I'm so glad I got to see it again before it closed. Please let it come back on Broadway after the movie.

I am seriously going to miss this show. Not many people can really understand what and how this show has changed my life. Such an amazing show. I went into the theater not really knowing what to expect and I came out absolutely loving it. My one regret was not being able to stay after and meet the cast at the stage door.

This play is such an amazing play. It reminds me so much of my Spanish family and to see all of the actors putting so much of themselves into it is very comforting.

This show changed everything I know and love about theatre, and life. I only got to see it once, and that was lucky -- I could use some $96,000 if you know what I mean!! -- but the story stayed with me as it does with everyone who sees it.

I wish I was there to see the final show, as I was there to see it when it first opened, but seeing I am not able to I wish the cast and crew of one of the best shows to play on Broadway in a long time a heartfelt farewell and to 'break a leg' in all and future endeavors. To me 'In the Heights', along with 'Rent', will always hold a special place in my heart and will be the shows I think of when I think of NYC and the Great White Way.

I fell in love with this show two years ago and I finally got to see it for my birthday in October. It was by far one of the best shows I've ever seen. In the Heights is definitely my absolute favourite musical, and always will be. I was never much for musicals, so when I went to NY for a school trip and found out we were watching this, I admit I was skeptical (plus Corbin Bleu was playing Usnavi when we went). I ended up spending some of the little bit of spending money I had left to buy the CD and listened to it nonstop my entire summer. I'll count myself as one of the people stuck on that magnet for sure!

i just came back from the show. I wanted to take a picture with Lin-Manuel, but there were so many people out there, I couldn't stay. This video just touches me deeply and the show is so great. Just like he said at the end of the show, In the Heights will never end. :)

"In The Heights" was honestly the best show I have EVER seen on Broadway. To think that tonight is the last night....it's just terrible to see it go. I'm thankful that I was able experience something so amazing. I wish I were able to express the emotion and general excitement this show brought to me each and every time I saw it. Lin, I wanted to see this off-Broadway. However, I had a girlfriend who lived on 163rd and Ft. Washington who once day in 2005 decided that she wanted to be an EX-gf. After that day, anything Washington Heights related was like kryptonite to me. Didn't want it. Didn't want to deal with it. Well, I got over that long ago, but never took a serious opportunity to see the show. Well, that changed yesterday. I saw the next-to-last matinee. Life-changing experience, and I wish I had seen it sooner. :)

I saw Heights on March 13, 2008. I walked into the theater with absolutely no expectations and really no idea what I was about to experience. I remember the lights coming up for intermission and being glued to my seat, absolutely speechless & inspired. After the show (of course I sobbed) I had the opportunity to meet LMM. I don't remember what was said - I may not have said anything, honestly - but I hope he knows how much his little show has changed the world. No pare, sigue, sigue indeed.

Lin, I can honestly say that this is the best show I've ever seen on Broadway. And no other Broadway show will take the number one spot. I saw it twice and each time I laugh hysterically and cry. The show is so intense and empowering and the music is beautiful. I'm so glad I got to see it again before it closed. Please let it come back on Broadway after the movie.

I am seriously going to miss this show. Not many people can really understand what and how this show has changed my life. Everytime i see it and listen to the songs i get chills and just this feeling of empowerment. This show is LIFE. Its been a dream of mine to be apart of this show since i saw it..so i am pretty upset that its closing but I am very happy that it was apart of my life. Sad to see you go but glad that you were here in the first place.

I first saw it about a year ago and when I heard it was leaving Broadway and that you were going to be back for the final performances...I had to go...again! You and the entire cast were AMAZING last night...my husband and I jam out every time we listen to the CD and I can't wait for the movie (fingers crossed). Such an amazing show. I went into the theater not really knowing what to expect and I came out absolutely loving it. My one regret was not being able to stay after and meet the cast at the stage door.

This show encouraged me to go ahead and be a theatre major in college, even though I was terrified to do so. This soundtrack got me and my friends through my senior year of high school. Thank you Lin Manuel Miranda for this beautiful story.

I can't believe that In The Heights is ending i got to see this show when i went to New York with my high school and i wanted to go back to see it again but i never got the chance to...this show means sooooo much to me because we did a dance to this song in my broadway class and it was the last dance i preformed before my knees gave out.....i just want to say thank you for the wonderful memories, you were by far the best broadway show that i have ever seen

This play is such an amazing play. It reminds me so much of my Spanish family and to see all of the actors putting so much of themselves into it is very comforting.

This show changed everything I know and love about theatre, and life. I only got to see it once, and that was lucky -- I could use some $96,000 if you know what I mean!! -- but the story stayed with me as it does with everyone who sees it.

I wish I was there to see the final show, as I was there to see it when it first opened, but seeing I am not able to I wish the cast and crew of one of the best shows to play on Broadway in a long time a heartfelt farewell and to 'break a leg' in all and future endeavors. To me 'In the Heights', along with 'Rent', will always hold a special place in my heart and will be the shows I think of when I think of NYC and the Great White Way.

I can never really explain how much this show means to me, how connected I feel to it. I cry every time I listen to the cd, I'm crying as I watch this video. The passion that you all put into this beautiful masterpiece is absolutely amazing. I am thrilled that you were able to make your dream come true, you proved that it's possible. I am so devastated that ITH is closing. But I am SO PROUD of where it's been.

I fell in love with this show two years ago and I finally got to see it for my birthday in October. It was by far one of the best shows I've ever seen. And let's not forget about stuff like Heights Cool Musical Too and Legally Brown =) In the Heights means the world to me, and I'm very sad to see such a wonderful show go, but it will live on forever. In the Heights is simply amazing! To have a show about latinos on Broadway reaffirms my faith that we are moving on up, and for the creator to be LATINO man makes my heart warm. I have seen ITH 3 times and although I can not see it 1 last time it is something I will carry with me forever, it restored my faith in dreams! Nothing is stopping me now. I love the show, the song, and the cast <3 Whenever I feel the world is tumbling down I listen to breathe and everything is better thankyou lin!

In the Heights is definitely my absolute favourite musical, and always will be. I was never much for musicals, so when I went to NY for a school trip and found out we were watching this, I admit I was skeptical (plus Corbin Bleu was playing Usnavi when we went). I ended up spending some of the little bit of spending money I had left to buy the CD and listened to it nonstop my entire summer. I'll count myself as one of the people stuck on that magnet for sure!
