no the backcap is alloy, the eyeplates are alloy the feed neck is a no rise metal locking feedneck and the barrel is two piece and 14 inchs also the asa and the airport are colored

well the se pmr is agreat gun but the etek is probaly better. i mean if u et a zit kit, cure bolt, and star frame. bam you have a ego 7 i suggest look around on etek reviews shooting, and maitinence vids to see if u r interested. pmrs r great but the etek is a little or posibaly a lot better.any specific questions just post a comment.
