I worked down the street from Kenne Bell, they used my buddies 02GT to create the first system for the 4.6 Stangs. And now Shelby's all have the Kenne Bell system...
I know that you are putting disc brakes on the back but is that an 8.8 rearend or a 7.5? The reason im asking is the drums look smaller than the ones on a 8.8, but maybe its just me.
@331lilcoupe Siemans, 60#. They are larger than needed for my forced-induction setup, but it allows me to only pulse them at 70%. If I ran smaller injectors then they would pulse closer to their maximum input which works them harder. You can run larger injectors as long as you get them properly tuned with your application and computer. thanks, Craig
@419forest Whats your rwhp ? I have 50lb msd injectors with Trickflow H/C/I 302 and vortech v2 and there not close to maxed out but im only around 450 rwhp
@MrStangerbanger 450 rwhp/462 rwtq on 6.5 psig. checkout my other videos. Siemans, 60#. They are larger than needed for my forced-induction setup, but it allows me to only pulse them at 70%. @MrCt302 No, because torque breaks transmissions. KB's generate a lot of torque which makes them fun to drive. The T56 magnum is a great piece of insurance, because I will undoubtedly find the weak spots under launch and full-throttle.
craig i want to ask u what kind of manaul trans do u have to handle all that horespower and torque? i have a t-5 with the g-force upgrade helical cut dog ring gears kit. i know it has to be a tremec 600 or up.
holy shit!!! the holy grail. man griag im ready to c this run. better yet im ready to hear how its going to sounds. o yeah graig please put it in the fast ford magazine please. holla at u later .
@MrCt302 I never thought about putting it in a magazine, but if it meets my expectation after I get it back from the tuner then I might look into it. Good suggestion. Thanks, Craig
@zombietx A1000 has 800 hp capability for forced induction. Aeromotive has a clean design and has a computer-controlled module that only runs the pump at the needed speed per engine power needs. In other words, the A1000 only runs wide open when you need it to run wide open; smart design.
@419forest ah so its more of an economic thing everyone goes will holley for race apps so i was just curious i like the idea tho im goin to look into it when i do my notch
@zombietx I'm not positive that I understand your reply. I was more focused on quality, design, forced-induction solutions. Fuel pumps are under more stress during supercharged applications vs natural, so you have to look at how they are rated under supercharged load, not posted rating. Most guys go with in-line T-rex pumps and stock rails or rubber fuel lines for an economical option instead of sumped tank, stainless lines, rails, regulators, pre & post filters, fuel controller, etc.
@419forest my holley did fine under boosted conditions i figured since you could program it it was a fuel saving issue ive never heard of the holley blue failing to supply a street strip car thats what i meant
@zombietx fuel controller module allows the fuel pump to run at lower rpm when not needed which increases the life of the pump. Most guys that go with T-rex inline pumps have issues when they get above 450 hp forced induction.
@419forest ATM all motor 410 or so i realize it isnt what your trying to put down but my turbo 94gt was makin 650 at the tires and i had a holley blue feeding her never leaned out but i see where your coming from its def worth checking out
Very nice fox craig keep up the good work man and i like the shot of the .45 just to let any haters know not to even try to steal it i have a '93 that i'm about to post a vid of very close to the same set up minus the kenne bell
This should run very well Craig. Word of caution though. Check with your insurance company concerning non OEM parts installation. Most insurance companies will not insure vehicle's that have non OEM parts installed for increased performance or anything they feel could inhibit your means of operating the Vehicle safely. My friend had a insurance company give him problems with Drag Radials installed on his car!
@419forest This is a very nice car and I'm excited to see you get 'er done and on the road, Craig. I subscribed to your channel in hopes of seeing the finished product. Good luck and be safe!
great video, keep us posted Im doing the same set up 2.2 kb on 347 boss block, but not sure of the cam, I am go custom.. your car looks so clean, keep the videos coming along subscribing again..lol
i was gonna steal your car but after seeing the desert eagle i think ill pass lol, by the way the the blower looks much better in the silver instead of the red. good luck and keep makin videos, gracias.
That is my dream notch. I just replaced the heater core in my notch and it is a hefty amount of work. If you dont have time to put it in you should just bypass it in the mean time. Great car though cant wait for the finished videos.
Labonte Motorsports methanol kit is the way to go. They were the former manufacturers of Snow's electronic controllers. A little less expensive and you get additional components. Thanks, Craig
Very nice. I'm anxious to see it! You know what I liked best though? The desert eagle! Right now I'm more interested in getting my bullet casting set up and stocking up on the powders I use for my cast bullet loads out of my surplus rifles than working on cars... but soon.... soon..
Where did you get your leather seats?
