  • haha im just now realizing they used the Entity Rape theme in this flick too

  • @Antoofthesand: They can run but they cannot hide. Not for long.

  • He reminds of me of Benjamin Netanyahu.

  • 26 people are hiding under the floorboards.

  • DAMN GOOD DETECTIVE

  • pants have been shat.

  • I assume Landa is serves in a totenkopf regiment? Anyway awesome movie und music

  • Epic intense stress song

  • "Au revoir Shosanna!!!"

  • this is just an excerpt fro mthe original

  • Ouups, I have uploaded under another name....:D

  • true perfection!!!

  • true perfection!!!!!!

  • Ths makes the third year in a row that the Academy has given the Best Supporting Actor award to an actor portraying a kickass villain.

  • österreicher halt ^^

  • Gott sei Dank....er hat ihn wirklich verdient...! Ich bin so stolz auf ihn !

  • IM SOOO happy he won!!! He was GREAT in this movie!!!

  • just to say he won every Award that he attended.

  • YAYA!!!! he won!

  • Colonel Hans Landa and major Dieter Hellstrom were best characters in the movie. I also like mr La Padite a bit

  • @hax0r16

I agree with you, but I also enjoyed Lt. Aldo in some bits (arriverderci part was just so funny) and I also wished there was more about Hugo Stiglitz, he seemed like a badass motherfucker!

  • This sounds a bit like the opening of Umbra Pogo, from Red Faction.

  • STRICTLY BUSINESS!

  • - actually, it was quite good, it just had some corny bits. The Kill Bill, From Dusk Till Dawn and Gindhouse movies were better imho.

  • The skull is reserved for SS Topenkopf i believe. Which is also called Deaths head

  • @ptgb57pt The skulls are reserved for the SS Totenkopfdivisionen, which were especially brutal.

The skull was designed after insignia on some Prussian uniforms.

  • Thank you for adding. I might be wrong but i think a few generals adopted this insignia for personal reasons.

  • Hi, thats not right, the skull was for every part of SS and Waffen-SS. And in the film you can see on his arm the sign SD, what means "Sicherheitsdienst", that was the intelligence service of the SS.

  • Oh yeah...he's the man....My hero!!!! He didn't die at the end, did he?

  • He didnt die and I AM VERY HAPPY HE DIDN´T. Really, i didn´t want Landa to die. I hated Brad Pitt and the bastards.

  • he didnt die he got a nazi mark in the head

  • How could you hate Brad Pitt and the Basterds? They were awesome!

  • @GilwenX I KNOW!! ME TOO!! xD

  • he gets a swastika carved into his head.

  • No, but he got a swastika carved in his forehead

  • Waltz is a great actor! I was amazed how he played his role.

  • BINGO! OOH HOW FUUAN!

  • Hans Landa is the MAN

  • Wait for the cream in my personal opinion he's... kinda cute ^.^'

  • I think that´s the general opinion. ;) How is that you explain that he´s a jew hunter but he is also, the favourite character of almost everyone?! Only a brilhant character and actor can do this!

  • He is my only fav character in this movie. The rest of the movie.. hum

  • A little bit, yeah...

  • THAT'S A BINGO!!!

  • You just say bingo!!!

  • Just send the Golden Globe & Oscar to Christoph Waltz now. Not since Hanibal Lecter has there been such an epic villian.

  • @bluegrass360 Actually there have been 3, and funnilly enough they all won Oscars for their SUPPORTING role 3 YEARS in a row! Bardem in No Country For Old Men and Ledger in The Dark Knight. I can't decide which of the 3 is better

  • @bluegrass360 Actually Heath Ledger arguably played a better villain in The Dark Knight.

  • i remember being so terrified for Shoshanna when this song played! the bass was booming like crazy in that theater

  • Right before Landa yells "Au revoir Shoshanna" he exclaims in German what translates as "Fuck It"

  • @moto1p1

    Really?! Hahahaha!

  • Oh, my gosh. Is that what he said there? I have rewound that part over and over again, trying to figure out what he was saying.

  • thank you

  • What is the song that plays when Landa first walks into the restaurant to chat with Melanie Laurent? (The scene where he orders the apple strudel).

  • @ralpho37 This is it (except this isn't the actual version. The soundtrack this came from - The Entity - wasn't officially released until last week. I have a sample clip of the real one in the info box of this video.

  • exactly what i want to know

  • @ralpho37 Charles Bernstein-Hound Chase probably

  • AU REVOIR, SHOSHANNA!

  • damn, the bass is lacking

  • WHERE CAN I GET THIS SONG!!! lol I love inglourious basterds "Dammit Hirshberg"

  • Search inglourious basterds soundtrack ost. you will find it. It's by ennio mariconnes I believe?

  • @iaretam It's actually by Charles Bernstein (the composer of the original Nightmare on Elm Street). Go to Intrada Records and look up The Entity.

  • @iaretam ummm they dont have it on itunes :/

  • May I smoke my pipe as well?

  • outstanding acting preform from Christopher Waltz.

Hans Landa was the meanest gentleman ever !

  • One of the most intense moments in the movie.

  • hands down, though i think it's because of how loud the bass sounds at the movie theatre

  • Naw, I just finished watching this on DVD and the song sounds completely different, way louder and much more bass. Very dramatic and a great villain track with the added bass.

  • @hundroog1 I can answer that. This version came off a bootlegged version of the complete Entity soundtrack that messed up the mix in parts (mainly how the attack score sounds like).

Thankfully, an official score release - with the sound intact - has just been released. As soon as it arrives, I'll upload the REAL Bath Attack to YouTube.

  • @AngelofMusic04 allright, please let me know when it happens

  • @oscarin2107 I uploaded it nearly five months ago.

  • Gratzi!

  • Thumps Up everyone if you want Christopher Waltz to get a Oscar of his role in this

  • @BentHenny spoiler alert, he did get an oscar for it

  • i wonder if the skull on the hat is a way of showing that thi smovie is a joke :P

    its really good tho

  • No, they actually had skulls on their hats.

  • there were skulls on the hats in real life...

  • thats interesting.

  • I love when Landa says "Its a bingo"

  • Ah, here comes Landa

  • C. W. take us to the real old days when we had a good actors. I think he has the caresma same as al patseino.

  • Best actor around the world

    Oscar Award for Chrsitoph Waltz

  • National Socialist Germany had the coolest uniforms >.>

  • I know, right?

  • Yeah, they did, you got to admit. And the really high-ranking people like Col. Landa wore those Oak leaves on both sides of their collars. Whether you like it or not, they were cool uniforms....

  • @effigyoflight Desinged by Hugo Boss! Style was importaint to those naziguys.

  • Hugo Boss !

  • I know right? I kind of have this fetish for really sharp and well designed uniforms. Especially from Germany.

  • Im the same- not pro nazi but the SS uniform was quite sexy imo.

  • I can't quite remember how the version used in the movie sounded. I just remember when he shows up behind Shosanna and the music kicks in, the whole theater was like, "oh, S.HIT!"

  • In the search function, type in "the entity rape" and it'll be the first video.

The official Entity soundtrack release is supposed to be sometime early next year.

  • 'the entity' was great movie. but not like IB. i think it might be my all time favorite movie- i've seen it in theatre 3 times and i cant wait for the DVD!!! YAY!

  • If he doesn't win an Oscar for this movie, I don't know what I'll do, but I'm sure I'll be pissed!

  • Chris Waltz was greatest on-screen villain since the guy who played Longshanks in Braveheart.

  • Totally agree with you, although I will say he is currently the best villain on screen since Henry Fonda's Frank in Once Upon A Time In The West.

    Cris Waltz = greatest villain

  • Christopher Waltz deserves every award for acting he can get. The performance he had was the best I've seen in many years....the most evil character to be on screen in a long time.

  • I don't believe I've ever seen a villain more cunning, chilling, and evilly charming than Colonel Hans Landa. He comes on screen, and your hair stands on end because you know the intensity of his delicious formidableness. When he enters the cafe, your nerves are screaming just like Shoshanna's.

Christopher Waltz better win all sorts of awards for his breathtaking performance! Thank you for providing this music! I wish it was as fast as the movie's version; is there more than one recording?

  • i think the recording was the same but the intesity of the scene was like racing heartbeat! i know this because that scene burned my memory with the tempo.

  • i found that scene incredibly disturning, when you hear the thud of machine gun fire going into the floor where jews are hiding

  • the best songs in movies are never in the soundtracks :(

  • His cap is badass I like the skull logo it defines him!

  • All Schutzstaffel (SS) officers had the totenkopf symbol on their caps. They adopted it for its historical significance.

Now it just looks badass and evil. :3

  • It's a shame that this music isn't featured in the CD...

The music's scene when Landa's behind Shosannah is one of the most powerful scene of the film.

  • Maybe if a campaign to 20th Century Fox (since The Entity does belong to them) is started asking/demanding for an official Entity soundtrack release WITH the attack sound intact.

  • What's the name of that song? I've been searching it forever

  • The bit in this is slower and less menacing, unfortunately

  • Yeah, it does seem a little different from the film version...

  • Seriously, that scene was AWESOME!

  • Landa was one crazy fucker! :P

    I loved this scene.

  • Ah... I loved that scene... I'm surprised it's not around Youtube somewhere...

  • Thanks for the vid awesome piece awsome character awesome movie

  • I think this is 'Terror in the Tub' from A Nightmare On Elm Street (faster computerized pop version) slowed down!

  • I loved it when they played this when Landa's standing behind Shosanna. It made by heart skip. So awesome.

  • yes, that scene was incredibly well edited

  • That was fantastic scene, it really showed off the sheer awesomeness that is Colonel Landa.

  • Great music. Great movie. The best I've seen this year

  • Hey, I PM'd u for the track. Thanks!

  • so no one has the one in the film right?

  • Tarantino does, apparently.

I'm still surprised he didn't include it on the CD. It's not like there wasn't room for it.

  • Comment removed

  • I used Windows Movie Maker.

    *ducks from WMM naysayers*

  • If you PM me, I could just get you a copy.

  • The music for when Col. Landa has the Dreyfuses massacred under the floorboards is called L'incontro Con La Figlia by Ennio Morricone.

  • Can you send me this song? I PM'd you.

  • should be played during nazi zombies in cod

  • I don't understand this at all. This is nothing like the version of the song used during the attack sequences in the movie. There is a HEAVY electric guitar accompaniment. It almost sounds like this is that version minus the guitar--which is lame considering how distinctive (and abrasive) the original version is. I downloaded the soundtrack to "The Entity" and it's just like it is here. Is there no version of this cut from the movie version?

  • I honestly have no idea why the complete score screwed up the attack sound. Perhaps the electric guitar was added in post AFTER Charles Bernstein finished the score.

Personally, I was hoping Tarantino would include "Bath Attack" on the IB soundtrack because I know he had to have gotten the REAL version.

  • So you're thinking it's just this elusive track? Also, I DID notice that it was missing from the official soundtrack, but yet it's supposed to be in the movie. Do you think he is using the electric guitar version, and just couldn't get it on the soundtrack for God knows what reason?

  • I have seen INGLORIOUS BASTERDS and he(it) ya the version of the guitar

  • Yeah--used in a really cool way and I'm mad that it's not on the soundtrack. Where is this version of the song available? Of course Tarantino had access to it somehow (considering it's not even on the "official" soundtrack to "The Entity)...maybe he just lifted it directly from the film's sound mix. Still, I'd love to find the version with the electric guitar.

I almost thought he was going to use it during a Nazi-beating scene or during the climax of the brilliant bar scene.

  • Can you send me this song?

  • I see no reason why not. PM me your e-mail and I'll get you a copy tonight.
