If Allah is truly mercy and compassion then I am sure he has room in his heart for all thoese who worship from the sincerity of their hearts. Some are so stuck in their minds they will never know the love of Allah only the law conceived by men which condemns them. Only the truth will set them free we are all one. Of this I am quite sure the profit Mohammed was convinced.
I do not understand your point... Are you saying I said women are not important because I didn't... I just said your comments are nonsensical and do not make a point.
The fact of the matter is this organization insults Islam and everything it stands for because it associates un-Islamic behaviors with the beauty of the religion. There is no way for them to defend against this position.
And whoever flagged my post just because I disagree needs to learn the basic principles of free speech.
Emphasizing its importance the prophet (pbuh) said: "The word Ar-rahm (womb) derives its name from Ar-Rahman (i.e. The Gracious One, one of the names of Allah) and Allah said: 'I will keep good relations with the one who will keep good relations with you, and sever relations with him who will sever relations with you."' (Bukhari). The woman (or arrahm-womb) thus occupies a pivotal position in human society
Your statements say nothing at all about the issue and are nonsensical. Also you assessment on the word rahm shows your ignorance of the Arabic language. Do not take my statements to be anti-Sufi; there are legitimate branches of Sufism: those who follow Islamic law. These people are not of that group and soil the name of Sufism.
Second, all humans, men and women, are created "from a single (pair or person)". In other words they are children of the same parents, members of one family, and have similar rights and duties. If the first principle represents God-man bond, the second stands for blood ties or man's relationship with his fellow men and women.
Islamic civilization rests on two cardinal principles. One, belief in God, and that He is the Lord and Creator of all humans. As such all humans are equal and have similar rights and obligations as servants of God.
something about this gives me chills..

How is it un-Islamic you ask?
Dancing,
Musical Instruments,
non-Mahram hand holding,
nonobservance of Islamic modesty laws
etc...
Take your pick.

What's the background on this organization? They do realize Sufis are supposed to be Muslims, right? This is quite un-Islamic to say the least...

It is important to keep an open mind on
different religions. Praise Buddha. I am
learning about the Tree of Life. Buddha sat
at the Tree of Life. To be wise/wisdom is more
important than a million dollars.
