It's great Hasbro did the Spoons homage. The Dirt Boss mold is really nice ( each of the RotF Scouts is pure win!) but the lack of paint apps in robot mode (compare the toy to the photo on the back) really took away from the figure.

With Spoon's hands painted differet than the arms adds a lot to the figure. Plus the extra paint on the head makes him more detailed.

But EVERY TIME I look at DB's head, I think of G'Kar from Babylon 5! It's so similar it's scary!

So glad they actually did this recolor! When Dirt Boss was first announced everyone was betting on a Spoons repaint so I'm really glad we got it!

I like Dirt Boss's colors ( and his face instantly reminded me of G;Kar from Babylon 5) but the lack of paint details on the hands really hurt the figure. Glad to see Spoons has had that oversight fixed.

The figure is nice and very different than the org version. Being colored as a Go Bot from 20+ years ago means nothing if you like the figure.

And Bandai did some GREAT figures in the Machine Robo line...stuff Transformers has yet to duplicate in the same price point.

Look at the complexity of Stinger, or Tux vs a Throttlebot from that time frame.
