went I think about it... from a design perspective, it's like a person sitting in the electric chair and then getting hanged at the same time, if you look closely at the imagery. What makes this the 'cyber' setting is the fact that the computer processer and machines that's doing all the work which adds to it.

What an interesting concept. That's one thing system shock 2 lacks, a cutscene for when you die and you have not activated the quantum regenerator (or whatever it's called). It also doesn't show credits after you complete the game which also disappointed me because the credits to that game are awesome.

Its too bad looking glass studios split up when they made such great games.

Lol you couldn't of played as a Cyborg for SHODAN cause you're pretty much the last human alive. Except for that lil group of resistance on the Flight Deck that was still alive when you got their but died later XD

Game play spoiler: If you do not convert the revive machines and you die, this ending happens. This game is super hard they had to put the revive machines in. Every floor you go I ended up getting the revive machines to work first.
