  • I love hearing the stories behind the songs/poems - and I have always loved this song because I also get a great sense of the victory to come that God is not dead or sleeping; the wrong SHALL FAIL and the right PREVAIL when Christ returns! 31 years ago I sang this song, ever verse, with my then 2 year old daughter Lorikate who stopped me abruptly and most seriously said, "Mommy, we don't peel bells ONLY oranges!"
