hey i was wondering if you could help me i keep geting this problem with my mic moduluter i can get on it and choose a mic modulater but i cant preview the vocals i highlighted and or hear them and it wont let me play the vocals anymore it keeps saying unidentified exsternal error then it saysERROR 0 IN TRANSFORMPLEASE USE DIFFERENT SETTINGS and i have done everythin ..and i use antares microphone modulater...and im using a dell inspiron mini with windows 7 started...dude seriously help me<XC

@yeaimsingle0113 Maybe you shouldn't use the mic modulator and just stick to my settings if this is happening. I USE to use the mic modulator but it really doesn't do anything different from what I show in this video. I recommend to not use it and just use my settings, they are really good.

wen i go to effects on my own cool edit pro it doesnt let me click on any thing its like the effects on my version wer deactivated but i can see them just cant use them can u fix it

all these tutorials are the same. Any of the vocal comp effects make your vocals distorted. And there's no other effects that somehow take distortion and make it sound better. I've followed like 8 tutorials and after all of them the vocals sound so much worse than before any effects. wow.

@BOOBO1023 What happens to it when you drag you beat into Cool Edit? A loud loud LOUD static noise? Cuz that happens to me with some beats. Just have to find another file of the beat. Some files get corrupted when you drag it into Cool Edit.

So its actually surprising they come out as clear as they do. Maybe in the future I will sound proof where I record.

use this settings and apply RVOX from waves to clean it up without lossing the quality it's called gating. everyone knows that, don't do noise reduction or those click pop/reductions it losses mad quality and the result is gonna be those annoying robotic voice.,then u get the clean clear quality u want. and don't forget to add an exciter if u do rap songs to add body and quality. trust me, thumbs up if it make sense, paaycee [:

Ok so it turns out the "New Better Settings" I was talking about were not as good as these settings. I thaught they were ahead of time before I used them but when I used those settings and played them on a stereo I couldnt even hear what I was saying. SOOOOO These settings are what I am still using. These settings are the best I have seen.
