  • Ha haaw :P .. we in Arizona get to have it and you guys don't, NYAAAHHH!! :p

  • Great idea!! now go find the man with the money!

  • Seems to me that some parabolic mirrors would soup this tech up quite a bit.

  • @01PLeasant what parabolic mirrors ???

  • this is an inefficient way to gt energy. but would of been cool... maybe the tourist attractions could have made up for the inefficiencies

  • @CytherLynx why is it ineffecient?

  • @CytherLynx is not inefficient ???

  • macht wirklich sinn

  • @henrykay01 fucking idiot

  • wow! good luck australia!

  • does anyone has patented this design?

  • we need to research MORE of this

  • the future

  • so for those who don't know, could you give some figures to explain why this is so efficient compared to other methods?

    it's really interesting...

  • @giorgosch86 Well it takes solar energy and heats water at ground level, then it separates water, H2O, into just Water and Oxygen as it rises up, then when more power is called on as the sun sets, these H=O=H bonds can be made again on command, thus generating all the electricity we need for a city in a single day. Also, I don't know too much about this specific project, but it looks that there are some wind turbines down below as well, they might assist as well in some energy production.

  • @Epicus From what I can see, that is not water on ground if you look more carefully, it is some sort of glass. The glass is being used to create an greenhouse effect by trapping the heat from the sun into the large basement. The hot air which lowers the atmospheric pressure of the confined basement is then allowed to pass through the long tower to outside where pressure is high and at the same time turning the turbines. The whole process is basically making use of artificial convection current.

  • amazing

  • The only thing that came of this idea was the video... sigh. Australia just loves burning that coal.

  • 1000m =1km whole that preoject is like one smaler town 2:35

  • let's build it on top of Mugabe's head

  • Finally, the long awaited monument for my penis is being erected (pun intended). I would like to thank my family and friends, for being there for me, every step of the way. I want to also thank baby jesus for putting all that junk in my (front) trunk.

  • seriously stop it

  • it,s my dck ina box

  • Very good video and a very interesting project.

    BTW, what is this mucsic?

  • it's pretty average. why ask

  • can someone tell me how feasible this project is

  • Just to built a tower that high has never been done before, let alone making turbines that large. It's possible, but unlikely. It also takes up too much space and would cost too much money and resources. It would also take a long time to build something that large. It would definitely take some big government spending.

  • I had this idea couples years ago.

    I thought it was "original"

It is totally plausible but how much it would cost?

  • Wow unfortunatly it is just to amssive to be considered a real enrgy solution it will just cost too much to build something that massive. And it will also only generate power in the summer. But you know what prove me wrong because I will really want to be proved wrong here but I honestly have a few doubts it is just too ambitious

  • it's already been done, and it works. its cheap as chips, just made of plastic :-)

it's basically, a giant wind turbine, based on the idea that hot air moves up.

  • "And it will also only generate power in the summer."

In some regions it´s always "summer"

  • wooooow! Totally worth the effot! I can't wait til it's made!

  • IF it will be made, which i think is unlikely
