is this piece suitable for an exam piece?

What kind of exam, and what school? I think this piece works fine as a an undergrad chamber music work, especially the whole set, not just this piece.

On the other hand, it's not a great piece unless the two pianists really learn the work and bring out the different moods, textures, and character as dynamically and freely as possible.

Technically speaking, the cortege and ballet are somewhat more difficult than other two, but none are exceedingly difficult. Hope your exams go well!
