I remember a teacher of a friend of mine saying X-Japan wasn't popular. Well, let's say their concert in the Netherlands was sold out in 10 MINUTES!! o dear, this song IS epic!! Though I'd prefer the lyrics to be in Japanese...
It's obviously just my opinion, but I consider this song the pinnacle of music, for me there's nothing better than this, the extend of the word EPICNESS was fitted into this song :D
lol You can't say you prefer DT as X japan on a comparative base, it's not the same kind of music and also not the same culture. The impact of X japan on pop culture is huge. One of the first Visual kei band - You should compare DT with other progressive bands and X Japan with other Visual kei bands. Logique
