I give it to Shinkenger. Though Samurai has some great characters like Mike and Antonio and a couple of PR-exclusive attack scenes.... Shinkenger is just far more badass.

Thing I always found weird about the feudal henshin in Shinkenger is the fact all they changed about the changers was make them wooden while yet retaining the cellphone part. Really? Why not just make them full on brushes? XD

I can't help but compare Takeru, Mako and Chiaki (because they're my favorite Shinkengers) to their American counterparts. Really though Shinkenger is just better in ways that, its samurai so duh Japanese. And the acting is not as cheesy as compared to Power Rangers, even in suit actions the Shinkengers' voice overs was just better. And they've delivered the whole series much better (and dont they ever change their OP to fit their theme?)

@geshidokkun yea i agree. since the show is portraying samurai which is apart of the culture of japan. their counterparts in the US version just doesnt fit but since Saban has the rights, so its alrite. they need to americanize it for american audiences anyway.

@sspr2011 dude check the footage carefully man. the footage from samurai is the same footage as shinkenger until the opening theme. they only skipped the part where they showed the phones for the US.

Shinkenger their no compertition, you should put the orginal first instead of what appears to be the canon copy or a show trying its hardest to but failing ... Samurai shouldnt even be compared to Shinkenger
