I wouldn't bet on it. The record company has The Strokes on a leash. Their originally it weening. In a good way, however, Albert is "free" to compose stuff like this. He actually wrote this stuff years ago, they just didn't perform it as a band. Still, Albert is a great indie rock nonetheless.
