To launch this we use something like an empty wine bottle, it doesn't really matter you could even use like a box and lean the rocket on it just as long as there isn't allot of friction with the stick.

for the ones in the united states who can't get metric drill bits for the 1/2 inch pvc use a 5/32 drill bit,,, for 3/4 inch pvc use 15/64 drill bit, if this don't work for you because of the burn rate then go one drill size biger, or cut back on your iron oxide, slow the burn rate down, i checked many places and couldent find metric drill bits here, i just saw on you tube a 22mm pvc rocket with a 6 mm drill hole in it take off real good with no iron oxide in it,

1 he said in one of his vids that leaving the rocket fuel out in open air too long can cause it to stop working. 2 its used to keep an opening and compacted better aswell because most of the substances in cat litter is a type of clay and using it can help the rocket. therefore do the math before u try and act smart.

Anything with an oxidizing agent over 3.5 will work nicely. Still i recommend you blend it with the sugar, because it evenly disperses the mix.

Yea, you don't want too much water otherwise it becomes mushy and then wets the rocket fuel. Try to get it just moist so it can be compressed without crumbeling.
