  • I don't know, some of these Nam Vets claimed to have been spit on by hippies when they got back home. I can you from the heart. If any filthy hippie spit on us or any other service member in the airport or elsewhere, we would have torn their fucking heads off and shit down their throats. If anything, people in the airports looked terrfied of us. I'm not saying it is all bullshit but I am saying, we never encountered anything like it because god help em' if they would have fucked with us.

  • @TheChuck624 my uncle speaking: those hippies they would call us baby killers pigs army of hell. infact they did do that people would say why are you hanging out with that nigger (sorry if i offended anyone) and we would say there our friends we spent 365 days with them hell and back he is my brother people would kick us out from white only bars because of our colored friends, but Vietnam was an experience i will never forget, thanks to all my brothers live strong

  • what did WMG DO? and who are they? thanks

  • vietnam

  • swordofscripture's comment needs to be the highest rated comment so WMG can see it and get their shit togethor.

  • it wasnt right to spit on the soldiers.

  • thank you vietnam vets you guys are the real heroes!

  • whats the name of the second song??

  • @Dynamiko001 hahahaha its The Box Tops - The Letter

  • Whats the name of the song??

  • @Dynamiko001 fortunate son - creedance clearwater revival

  • @ManicMike26 thanks, haha and the second one?? it's good too

  • @ Naratoo They spit because we were there in an unpopular war! There were some very bad things that happened but not all GI's were this way but the general public didn't see it that way. People I graduated High School with didn't want anything to do with me. To this day there is some old classmates that say I stupid for going to VietNam and it has been over 40 years! Oh well life goes on!

  • @jimouy Welcome home & thanks

  • for majority of Vietnamese, the Vietnam war was American continuing of French first Indochina war to enslave Vietnamese. If USA did not block election in 1956,Vietnam war would not happen

  • GOD BLESS MY NIGGERS WHO DIED FOR STUPUD SHIT

  • @soowwe blacks weren't the only ones who died

  • @soowwe you acting like we was the only ones there and most blacks didnt even enter war but ratter go to jail like ali

  • Will not forget you. Prayer for you every day. Stop the war! Bring our soldiers home yesterday.

  • i dont know y people back home just dont understand that these poor boys were so scared and hurt by war that they had trouble with normal life and when people were spitting at them it didnt help

  • @kcbros151 Yup ignorant idiots on both sides...

  • @kcbros151 I agree too many ignorant assholes on both sides of the debate.

  • dad was i the airborne, and like many was spat on at arrival home, dad took, 14 shots in total, mostly in the legs so he lived thanks to the amazing field meds, I still can't understand how people condemn the troops for what they did, the my lai massacre was a result of soldiers not bein taught how to deal with death, the taught them selves, treat the Vietnamese like rats.

Death isn't easy to deal with, I'm a naval pilot now, I know, and i dont even see the faces of the ones i killed.

  • @MrSquelcher Yah man they were all like 19 give em a break war is hell. the ignorant people back home saw them as babykillers and not heros

  • I'll tell you why it happened...the damned dirty hippies poisoned the minds of Americans back home while good men were fighting and dying in Vietnam

  • @starhawks1 most hippies were drafted to nam

  • and those who weren't, such as a large population of college students, proceeded to destroy the integrity and unity of our nation

  • @starhawks1 You're full of shit buddy. I have respect for the vets but that war was pure bullshit. And if you had a fucking brain in your head you would know it.

  • don't make claims that aren't true just to strengthen your argument, I never once disputed that the vietnam war was unnecessary, I agree, we probably shouldn't have been there, but we were, and that's something the people can't change so the very least they could have done is not destroy morale and make the government look like the bad guy...and to top it off, they greeted the heroes who returned by spitting on them, so no, I'm not full of shit

  • @starhawks1 I think that it was pathetic of people to spit on the vets. I agree with you there, but the govt WAS the bad guy... As the government usually is... The working class get sucked into dying for rich scum. Same old story all through history.... Peasants killing and dying for their masters interests and always ending up with the shitty end of the stick. Same thing is happening now. But at least they are not drafted.

  • well we will have to agree to disagree but I don't think you can compare the vietnam war to today's military considering it's all voluntary, I don't think many people would view it as dying for their masters interest, they go because they feel they should...I'm doing air force rotc next year in college and I'm actually really excited

  • @starhawks1 I understand your excitment. I agree their is a fundamental difference between a volenteer force as opposed to a drafted one. But many just joined the military to find a career after that, as you know you go where and when they tell you. Good luck buddy, stay safe.

  • @starhawks1:First you say "and those who weren't, such as a large population of college students, proceeded to destroy the integrity and unity of our nation." And then you say "I'm doing air force ROTC next year in college and I'm actually really excited." So nice that you have that option. I'm sure you and your ROTC/frat brother buddies are looking for some nice non-combat assignments. Shut up! YOU are making the military look bad!

  • @shayne1958 ROTC so he will have one foot on that shiny brass latter, he won't have a clue about jungle so thick you don't know who or what is three ft away or eating the same food so you smell kinda life they or how about the trail was marked

of mines, but over nite a vine wrap up on the trip wire

  • @starhawks1 : And most were not "hippies" until they went to Vietnam. And after they had served their country and came home home, their minds, bodies and soul broken from what they had endured and tried to tell their government and the people what was really going on there, they were treated as traitors and beaten and arrested and forgotten by those that had sent them there in the first place. You can't blame Vietnam on the hippies.

  • @MrSquelcher Wow man your dad lucked out not loosing a leg he probably came close.

  • i have never faught in a war, but i honor and respect everyone who was there or in any other war, so i simply wish ti thank you for all you have done for us

  • @DracoHKXX2 People fight in wars to stay alive and to save their buddies and that is usually it.

  • The communist authority orchestrates the agent orange lawsuit as a propaganda for money through Nguyen Trong Nhan, a former health minister who is a vice chairman of the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange, and millions of dollars of compensation for victims would end up in the pockets of corrupt high-ranking officials as in the case of PMU-18 scandal in which foreign aid was used to gamble and pay for prostitutes. (Vietnam is ranked as second most corrupt nations in Asia)

  • @tim666661 Shit! how much did they pay for u to do that???? 5 dollars?

  • Ho chi Minh, Vietnam's communist founder, is a disguting TRAITOR and MURDERER. He was a member of the Third Communist International established in 1919 by Lenin. He gave up Paracel & Spratly archipelagos with large oil resources to Red China. He even ordered to murder his own mistress named Nong thi Xuan when she threatened to disclose her sexual relationship with him since that would destroy his image as a "Father" of Vietnam who "sacrifices" his whole life for Vietnam revolution.

  • PRO-COMMUNIST SENATOR "HANOI" JOHN KERRY SUPPORTS BRUTAL COMMUNIST VIETNAM BY KILLING VIETNAM HUMAN RIGHTS ACT IN THE SENATE.

He values dirty money and economic ties with communist Vietnam far more than democracy and human rights values. Consequently, Vietnam, has waged a new crackdown on democracy activists such as Father Nguyen van Ly and lawyers Nguyen van Dai and Le thi Cong Nhan, who were given unfair, harsh sentences of several years in prison for their democracy activities.

  • As an Army soldier and as the son of a Nam vet, I salute you sir. My dad did 2 tours, both times on fire bases as he's an Artilleryman as am I. There were some anti war folks when my unit came back from the gulf and needless to say they stayed outside of the "danger zone". I would have went to jail if someone would have made the facial motion like they was gonna "expectorate" in our direction....

  • serves u right, every american should and will be treated like that, you brought it upon yourself,

  • you go fight in 120 degree jungles where it rains everyday . having rifles that you dont know if its even going to fire tell me what you do

  • only after we kicked their asses for 9 years

  • Your country killed your own people because they told the truth, yea, nice country you've got there mate.

  • Your country killed your own people because they told the truth, many are still in hiding, because they fear Assassins will be send after them. Yea, nice country you've got there, mate.

  • the video its self isn' ruined but it just shows what an ass wmg has become no respect for the vets. Next time I buy music I hope like hell it doesn't say wmg or it will stay on he shelf...

  • Los malditos yankis perideron la guerra del Viet Nam porque estaban peleando en territorio ajeno

  • WMG, how bout you try to disable the sweet sound of me pissing on your face!

  • Boycot WMG! Let them know they suck!

  • March 1973, the US ARMY, included NAVY, MARINE, INFANTRY, TANK, AIR FORCE... must WITHDRAW from VIETNAM, after the FAILURE of Operation Linebacker II. They were WOUNDED, HYSTERICAL, SHAMEFACED.. They were FILMED. The films were SPREADED everywhere, to everyone.. to show the WEAKNESS of AMERICANS....

THE DAY OF GLORY IS RIGHT HERE :-)

  • The lost of Yanks is not less shameful by this dumb & ridiculous defending

  • @50poiuyt Why don't you finally do some research of the Jan 1973 treaty. It is very specific that all sides cease hostillities, echange prisoners and US troops pull out. It is called a Peace Agreement. We left under honorable conditions. Also when you read the treaty you will read where the US promised huge amounts of Aid for Vietnam to rebuild as a generous bonus for peace. North Vietnam. North Vietnam broke the treaty and still begged for the money afterwords.

  • @zzzpqd we took a leak at your face.Lick our arse

  • @50poiuyt Now you have lowered yourself to your proper level street whore.

  • @zzzpqd Only idiots believes in your words. We do not

  • @50poiuyt Who is we, you and the turd you have in your pocket? You can really only speak for yourself otherwise you come off sounding, well, rather crazy.

  • @zzzpqd we= no idiots

  • @50poiuyt I really feel sorry for you. You are attempting to gain some sort of emotional satisfaction that we suffered. Yes, we suffered during the war, but other than our wounded warriors which we love and support still, our nation has gone on and no longer cares anything for Vietnam. You will never get reparations, you will never get any emotional satisfaction that the millions and millions of your countrymen that died, did so for some greater reason than the communist will for them to die.

  • @zzzpqd The long beak do not help you change the loss in the won.The victory in the war is the the biggest prize for everyone, who sacryficed his life for country and society respect them.

  • @50poiuyt Actually the more people study, the more they will realize, I know what I am talking about, you know nothing but lies and propaganda. Vietnam's case against US Agent Orange was thrown out of court. US military fought most battles in 3 provinces along Laos, Cambodia, DMZ. South Vietnamese people rejected communism.

  • @50poiuyt Everything I say can be backed up with facts, figures and real history, not communist propaganda, lies and insanity. If you really want to know study yourself and stop repeating tired old communist lies.

  • @zzzpqd The fact was you Yanks suported French in first Indochina war to enslave Vietnamese, but French were defeated, itwas first your loss in VN.The fact was you and your tail Diem blocked election in 1956,because you knew you will lose in this election, this was reason of Second Indochina war,its joy was your second loss in VN.The big mouth did not help you to win .

  • @50poiuyt You still don't get it. Vietnam meant nothing, absolutely nothing, it was only a stage for a greater war that the US was fighting against communists especially Soviets. When we made deals with the Chinese Vietnam war meant nothing to us, we achieved our goals by splitting the Sino/Soviet pact and becoming China's strategic partner, this was much more important to global strategy than Vietnam. We left Vietnam in 1973 we didn't need you anymore.

  • little stunts like these by WMG ensure that i'll never give them a thin dime of my money. If you're so greedy that you cant allow a person to use a musical track without paying the royalties, so they can put a collage together that commemorates a war and its fallen, then you dont deserve to be in a business of any sort...you are pitiful, WMG.

  • @swordofscripture couldn't have said it better

  • war of over the world

  • Man, that was so a beautiful Era. The War was bad, but the Music was a dream !. CCR, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane ...

    Greetings from Germany

  • Alot of their music was inspiried by the war.

  • Well guys, i´m totally agree with "Erich0s", pretty good music!!

  • Some things are worth clearing up. The swastika actually has its origins in India, and is used as a symbol of good luck. Likely, the soldier wearing one bought it at a market, either in Vietnam or while on R&R (rest and recreation) in Thailand or some other country in the region.

The myth of soldiers being spit upon when returning is just that, perpetuated by people with an agenda.

Like the effort in Iraq, the Vietnam war was based on lies. Over 3 million Vietnamese died, and 55,000 U.S.

  • 58,184...

  • I am a Nam Vet and I was spit on at the airport in fact twice, once at San Francisco and again at Love Field Airport in Dallas. So, you need to quit listening to people who would rather talk than do!

  • hi jimouy, i was navy, falklands. LRO2.(sparky). myself, i was welcomed home, treated like a local fecking hero,i done my job, thats all.i was in comms with sheffield when she was hit,i didnt know what happend until i saw the tv,its not normal to be put in that situation,i didnt see, just heard, thank god it wasnt you or i that didnt walk home eh!.never told my parents, dad wanted to know (ex navy),i didnt speak much but my father knew, war can make one angry or complasent, you take care, razorsharp

    PEACE,

    JDK

  • thats very kind 13, pass your good vibes on to the guys n gals from vietnam .and thank you. andy

  • American criminals killed 4 million innocent people in Vietnam.

Children, mothers and fathers. As a result Vietnam did become a communist country, which was their own choice and no business of US anyway.

    USA=NAZI GERMANY.

  • You , my friend are a sack of shit!

  • I totally agree...

  • You cant put the USA in the same sentence as Nazi Germany. Nazi Germany was a nationalist country, USA is capitalist. Fool.

  • I don't think he meant the ideology, but the war crimes committed by both the countries. Nazis during WWII and by US in Vietnam

  • their bestiality was same

  • MUCH RESPECT FOR YOU, EVER SENSE I WAS A SMALL KID IN THE EARLY 80s, THE SPITTING ON VETS THING PISSED ME OFF

  • @jimouy I SALUTE TO YOU SIR! thank you for your service.

  • @jimouy Im only 24, never fought in a war, but I just couldnt understand people spitting on the soldiers coming home, go spit on the fucking politicions (spelt wrong) Back in the roman empire and such, people knew to listen to the soldiers and respect them, cause if they didnt they'd turn on the people and goverment, take control.... exactly what you's should of done in the 60's and 70's

  • @jimouy If I saw you I would use that spit too clean your shoes sir, Thank you.

  • @falloutfacts Nobody touches my boots! LOL

  • @jimouy why the hell did they spit at you please respond ?

  • @jimouy Welcome home Brother.

  • @NastyNatey Thanks Bro.!

  • @jimouy Thanks Man glad you made it back home.May I say welcome home & thanks

  • well unlike all of you guys i am just gonna stick to saying this is some real good music here

  • How many that posted even remember the Viet Nam war? Or just what you heard? I was in the service at the time and remember it all to well. Our men and women fought, as the government wanted them to do, rather it was a sucky conflict or not. They came home to an ugly reception from their own people, spit on, called baby killers. What would you do in same situation? Not knowing what or who was booby trapped, thousands miles away from home

    ?

God Bless our soldiers, past and present.

  • you said it all to many people dont kinow what war is like and we should all thank God for that

  • That war sucked, the music not...

  • All wars suck if you are fighting them I dont think you relate with vets like me man. You just see the TV screen and movie and live a vicarious life.

  • Please check out my Vietnam vet documentary -- and tell your friends. I need views to completion attract funds.

    search: afamreport

    Thank you.

  • who saw the nazi necklace in 5:44?

  • hees a fucking niger with the nazi sybol wath a shit

  • he probably grabbed it from a dead Germans body, meaning this video is inaccurate

  • OK morons. Before the Swastika was stolen by the Nazi's, it was used for thousands of years by many cultures as a symbol for life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.

  • you moron the only cultures who used that were Chinese, Korean, and Japanese in art. does that black man look korean japanese or chinese? well it could be possible i am half chinese and half mexican and i look 100% american

  • duly noted

  • the swastika reveresed actually means peace according to some Indians.

  • yah you are right...I had an Indian friend who wore one....one of these dunderheads that have commented may argue with you though

  • Some peolpe in Nam used that like a unit sybol and why you have to cut him down because he is black?
