I'm getting one of these, ripping a chunk out of my bedroom wall, and puting this in the whole. Whose with me? Why just take a car when you can take the whole god forsaked computure, X-box, fridge and all that!
Wow, ThinkGeek actually wanted $250 for THIS!??! While it does LOOK good, the lights are supposed to pulse from the ouside to inside. Not just blink rapidly. What this is, is a highly overpriced strobe light. (can even hear the xenon tubes clicking -.-)
@brianchris4 How do you know it wasn't pulsing the right way? Video speed does weird things with timing. Like how sometimes it looks like a cars wheels are moving backwards or a helicopters blades are standing still.
You are right, it's supposed to go from out to in, but the video shows the pulsing set to high. It can be lowered to look more like pulsing, but there aren't enuf lights, it's only has three on each arm.
The strobe is the light in the middle, which is a separate light. This does look good, but just looks a little off. The wires connecting to the arms are a different shade of yellow, and the lights themselves do not correctly emulate the lights of the original.
@brianchris4 Apparently they sold like Hotcakes because ThinkGeek is all sold out. If they had more I'd buy one. It would really look cool next to my LightSaber!
I bought this and while neat...I am sorry I did. I should have shelled out a little more for for the one from BBTFstuff. It's way overpriced for what it is, but not a waste of money.
Also....so much for installing it in a car with style. Late 2000's Electric-Shaver Econobox would not be my choice for a new time machine. o.0
HELP, I'm trapped in 1985! My Flux Capacitors fraked! I've sent this message using a delayed 23year crontab on a state of the art VACS MAINFRAME. The 80's is killing me! I cant take another UB40 song! Meet me outside Naugles Resturant in Mira Messa in 1985 December 20th!
did you hit your head on the edge of the sink And get a vision of the flux capcitor? I love it that is my favorite movie ever.next all you need is the self drying jacket fromthe third movie.
I have one. It was limited to 1,000 and they WERE $250 before they sold out. Search on eBay, there are always a few floating around for about $300-$400. BTW Don't hang it on the wall, it's too fragile.
Actually, with a 52 mile (one way) commute to work, I hit 80 mph in it almost every day. And to get the extra 8 mph is no problem, either. The real question is: what would happen in the time stream if your windows were open?
