China doesn't let foreign companies do business unless they use local labor and must partner up with a local or govt. companies. 2. China = Thief: steals US commercial and military secrets, makes fake products. 3. China = robber: steals islands in the South China Sea from Vietnam, the Philippines & Japan.

sometimes, we think we are military geniuses. WAR is great to talk about so long as it does not involve you. Ditto - football matches. But players will tell you it is an exhausting game. Soldiers will tell you - lots of peolple will die. The last time Vietnam received a slap, it was a gentle reminder no one will come running to her aid? This time round, you think ASEAN, Japan, S. Korea will come to your aid ????? US maybe; but will she want to exchange Los Angeles for Hanoi?

@leolee1959 Again, we Viets have ALWAYS DEFEATED china WITHOUT ANY FOREIGN HELP for the past 2,300 yrs. But now, we have enormous help from others because everyone hates china (except North Korea LOL!!!). Also, I think there will be a NATO-like version that will soon take place in Asia to mobilize all the forces against china. So if you attack one of us, it's as though you attack all of us.

What would one gain by invading India? Solve her problems? If these 2 giants were to co-operate, they may own 50% of the world's market. Henry Kissinger said; "if China & US are hostile to each other, the outcome only benefit 3rd parties". Same applies for China & India. If you truly think your country is great, act like one. Don't play into 3rd parties' interests. Military capability will not help steer India become an economic super power. Co-operation will.

I find a strategically placed finger takes care of navel build up.
I don't know why the islands are disputed. Vietnam had to know there was going to be a price. It's not like they haven't had a history with China.
