I'm a youngen so forgive me for lack of old school knowledge, but what dance are the punters doing at the start of the video. Figured it was a style of dance because they all look somewhat uniform. Also when the hardcore gets pumping fast later in the vid is that the early roots of cranking/stomping that I am seeing?

The style of dance is most commonly drug and stimulant based, the music adding that extra punch of adrenalin and the sense of freedom from anything that usually bothers you bringing you to an overwhelming physical lucidity. I don't have a short name for this though...

This place was supposed to be closed by 8am, but we took over the decks and told the clean up crew to chill out, and took over with hardcore from Europe that most clubs were scared to play because they were too safey.

So Hutcho & Jacen , pumped it hard with their white labels etc.. and ran till the Deisel generator ran out by 10 and we were too tired by 10 any way.

Well, sorry dude that the organizers couldn't afford a $200,000 venue. In 1993 the ticket price was $20, which after costs/djs/expenses for 2500 tickets made a modest profit.
