Hahaha, oooh, the moment I saw Jack appear dressed in black, I knew it was going down. :D
Also, I can't understand why there are so many negative comments about this play. I think it's excellent, well performed, funny, and not boring at all. To each their own, I guess.
@Ceminon ~ As Oscar Wilde said, "It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious." He must have had you in mind for the latter.
Wilde was gay and he was married to a women at that time ,he lived a double life with his marraige and his gay boyfriend . that's why i think wrote about living a double life
i dont get the bit "young women are green. i spoke horticulturally"? it's supposed to be some sexual innuendo right... but what exactly D: sorry im not being erotic here im doing this for my lit text /:
Last spring I played the part as Miss Prism. I loved being a synical woman with a repugant face who in some way devote oneself to pedagogy and is in love with the vicar
@guitarcapo hey, keep that to yourself, some of us were anxiously awaiting to reach the end to become aware of the plot's conclusion. not at all gentlemanly behavior, shame on you.
I guess you run the risk of that when you watch movies for free online instead of being an honest person and renting the DVD or paying for a ticket in the theater.
Maybe you should just avoid comments entirely until the end of your pirating adventures. BTW there's an awesome kung fu fight scene in the 3rd act. Algernon rips out Dr. Chausable's heart and shows it to him before he dies.
the only reason why I'm watching this is for my AP English class. We're taking a test tomorrow and I'm a dumb ass that doesn't pay attention to myself when I read, so I need to watch the movie in order to pass......
I'm playing Cecily in my production of this, and I'm finding it an absolutely magnificent play :)

Algernon: I feel better already.
Cecily: You're looking a little worse.
lolll so funny

Someone should've squeezed the life out of Oscar Wilde before he wrote this abomination.

what in the world, Cecily is supposed to 18, this woman looks and acts like she's 35

@addiople
I noticed that too, but she makes up for it in full in the way she delivers her lines. The perm makes her look older than she probably is.

Very stiff and lacking any humor or romance. Typically English pompous production that seems a farce on everything Wilde stood for.
BTW at the end of the play Gwendylin and Jack are found to be blood 1st cousins and marry anyway. Very creepy.

I can always view it, never had a problem. It's a mystery why so many others can't.
In any case, I've uploaded a near duplicate of part 5. Search YouTube for "The Importance Of Being Earnest (W. Hiller) part 5 of 11"
