  • I'm playing Cecily in my production of this, and I'm finding it an absolutely magnificent play :)

  • Algernon: I feel better already.

Cecily: You're looking a little worse.

    lolll so funny

  • Cecily sounds too old to be just 18... i prefer the Cecily I performed with on the stage :D

  • Wonderful videos for a masterpiece of humour

  • I feel SO proud that I get the role of Chasuble in my class play :D

  • Hahaha, oooh, the moment I saw Jack appear dressed in black, I knew it was going down. :D

Also, I can't understand why there are so many negative comments about this play. I think it's excellent, well performed, funny, and not boring at all. To each their own, I guess.

  • Someone should've squeezed the life out of Oscar Wilde before he wrote this abomination.

  • @Ceminon ~ As Oscar Wilde said, "It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious." He must have had you in mind for the latter.

  • Wilde was gay and he was married to a women at that time ,he lived a double life with his marraige and his gay boyfriend . that's why i think wrote about living a double life

  • Oh man. The plot is thickening !!!!

  • this is just messed up

  • Old English plays just aren't my style

  • i dont get the bit "young women are green. i spoke horticulturally"? it's supposed to be some sexual innuendo right... but what exactly D: sorry im not being erotic here im doing this for my lit text /:

  • what in the world, Cecily is supposed to 18, this woman looks and acts like she's 35

  • @addiople

I noticed that too, but she makes up for it in full in the way she delivers her lines. The perm makes her look older than she probably is.

  • Last spring I played the part as Miss Prism. I loved being a synical woman with a repugant face who in some way devote oneself to pedagogy and is in love with the vicar

  • haha "I would hang upon her lips...I mean metaphorically"

  • @guitarcapo hey, keep that to yourself, some of us were anxiously awaiting to reach the end to become aware of the plot's conclusion. not at all gentlemanly behavior, shame on you.

  • I guess you run the risk of that when you watch movies for free online instead of being an honest person and renting the DVD or paying for a ticket in the theater.

Maybe you should just avoid comments entirely until the end of your pirating adventures. BTW there's an awesome kung fu fight scene in the 3rd act. Algernon rips out Dr. Chausable's heart and shows it to him before he dies.

  • " The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what Fiction means. "

Ha Ha - so brilliant - Wilde was a Genius.

  • @ornleifs but so untrue of Wilde's own life... :(

  • okey dokey

  • ! Steady UP

  • ew ew ew? are you a rat? and is ew ew your rat language?

  • just*

  • jsut*

  • I love this play it is hilarious. ive read it for english and a college class and this time is jsut for me

  • the only reason why I'm watching this is for my AP English class. We're taking a test tomorrow and I'm a dumb ass that doesn't pay attention to myself when I read, so I need to watch the movie in order to pass......

  • lol what the heck. I have to read this for 11H English class.

Come to think of it...all of the literature I had to read this year were supposed to be read in AP English. T_T

  • no he's not.

  • Oh, come on. I was just getting into it. Need part 5, please.

  • I can always view it, never had a problem. It's a mystery why so many others can't.

In any case, I've uploaded a near duplicate of part 5. Search YouTube for "The Importance Of Being Earnest (W. Hiller) part 5 of 11"

  • this sucks i was really enjoying it!

  • you should not enjoy too much of anything, which is called self control. but sadly I also enjoy somethings a lot. like music,

  • put the video up again!!!!!!!

  • This has to be put on again

    it has beeen removed

  • Why is it no longer available? It completely spoils the watching of all the others
