I love the incredible 2 because its just a simple droid it does not have to be 4g to be cool like all the other phones out there its fast it has a great battery life for a droid and its simple to use it has a basic design a great camera makes good calls and looks great in all 3 colors i love this phone.

It's weird. Some people hate HTC—I personally prefer it over the rest, at least the non-vanilla GUIs. I think Touchwiz is horribly slow and not intuitive. On a side note, the Samsung Droid Charge is just super ugly (screen aside)

Where do they get battery statistics? I swear to god they're always SO off.

I mean both of these phones are wonderful, but they are both battery hogs, it's pretty much the case with all Android phones.

Why not test the batteries with REAL circumstances, have a few apps running... etc... I mean 8 hours talk time on the Charge? HA! More like 3!

Again, I think both phones are great, that's just waaaaay off.

@randalld93 The Incredible 2 has a great battery. I have one and I always go 15 hours and more on one charge and thats with heavy use of youtube, sms, and web surfing.

I just meant that people give these specs on battery life, but they're never accurate because everyone uses their phones differently. I have had very good luck with battery on the INC2 as well. So I guess battery hog wasn't exactly what I meant, I simply meant that they give specific numbers for battery life, and then people use their phones and the battery goes down. It's erratic. I'm just saying it shouldn't be in the specs.

@asitmc - yeah, they could make their screens support 16.7 million colors instead of just 16 million... but really, it has to do with what type of screen it is. Samsung uses AMOLED screens, and HTC uses TFT (LCD) screens. AMOLED screens are always more bright and rich.

Just had my Samsung Fascinate replaced as I was missing calls some sort of manufactures defect or update pushed by Verizon that broke the phone. I was offered a choice of the Droid X2, Inc2 or Droid Charge. I went with the Droid Charge.

@skategeezer99 I am calling the Verizon Customer Service today. I am getting 1/2 calls coming in, and random notification sounds/ vibrations. Hopefully they'll trade in my Fascinate for a Charge. Not happy with this phone and this is my 2nd one.

Great comparison. I love sanding phones, but I want to try out an htc. Htc sense rocks too. I don't like the chin on the charge, but it's screen is hella nice. Ugh. Guess I'll have to go to the Verizon store and play with both of them. Trying to get off the iPhone band wagon. I've had it with apple.

The Charge is a 4G version of the Samsung Fascinate. To me the Fascinate looks better. I hate touchwiz.

The Incredible 2 is a 3G version of the Thunderbolt with newer and better hardware.

I think the Incredible 2 looks better. I love Sense.
