I'm a lawyer and should know better, but after experiencing such heartache and complete frustration that I also said somethings I deeply regret but it was writing my daughter on facebook. I was so frustrated I forgot about it being a public forum, I have always loved my children more than anything in this life and shown that as well. Michael Jackson did the father thing more successfully- he STARTED his parenthood with legal contracts to prevent inevitable court battles later on. I have lived with this for years parental alienation. Unfortunately there is nothing that can done about my x-wife and every time I either defend myself or state what is correct my two daughters look at me like I have two heads. Can't express how sorry I felt for him through this whole horrible event. Parents yell at their kids all the time, but don't have to go through the humiliation of a public apology. I really thought Alec was a funny guy - he makes my laugh on 30 Rock. I dont like him naymore now. All he did was justify his behaviour blaming the media and ranting about how they have their own problems when really he should have used this forum to publically apologise for what he did wrong, and acknowledge that no matter how he was feeling about his divorce, or how much he was pushed to the edge, you can never speak to a child in the way.

I love Alec. Poor guy. Wish people would just shut up about the whole incident. Obviously he was pushed to the edge, I am not saying it was right, but he did it once and from what I could tell he had a good reason, I would probably do the same in that situation he was in.
