His lack of sophistication is quite deliberate. If educated people spent more time worrying about selling instead of spelling; (it is spelled s-u-c-c-e-s-s by the way) they would all experience more s-u-c-c-e-s-s. They should take the position of the commas in his bank balance serious and not be so concerned with his speech.
