@RedSidhe About Aria: The music is loosely based on the French opera from the 19th century called 'Lakme' by Leo Delibes, but Yanni didn't use actual words in the song -- they are vocal expressions or sounds made with singing voices. I'm aware of some the sounds seem like words -- especially French words -- but they aren't... at least, probably not intentionally. I hope this helps you out. P,S. I could listen to this endlessly......It's so beautiful.

The original singer on Yanni's Dare To Dream album is "Monalisa Young". These singers are superb, but if you check the credits on the right side at the bottom of the cd, you'll see Monalisa's name there. Now Aria is on a lot of his other CD's with her vocal.

From Niagara Falls Ont. ca. this song is amazing. I watched his two concerts on TV and own Yanni's videos and cd's. Waht do I usually listen to (the top 40). However one has to be open to ones sense and with that I came to love not just the song here but each and everyone of them. His music tells a story of love sadness, inspiration, pride, emotion, spirtuality, love. Open yourself up to any of his songs and music.
