We mounted a custom aluminum radiator up front where the spare tire sat. The water runs through 1.5" aluminized exhaust tubing that we had bent up at a local muffler shop. There is an electric fan off of a Mitsubishi Mirage mounted to the radiator. The Subaru computer controls the fan.
hey im thinking about buying a bug with a ej25 in it i just have to buy an ecu and a wiring harness to finish it how hard do you think it was to hook it up?
There is a little bit of cutting involved, yes. You must find a place for the radiator (I used the spare tire space), and there is a small amount of trimming in the engine bay itself (to clear the cam covers).

Solid brass pipe work under the car with an electric fan for a small rad. in the front that is 100% manual switch operated?

dhey one question. Did you brake any part of the VW bug to make the subaru engine fit on it?
I am thinking to do the same, but i wouldnt like to brake any part of the VW bug.
