@plugit21 I started with the basic Roland TD-10 kit, which I believe was a 5 piece, with 2 cymbals and high hats. I then added a couple of cymbals and toms, along with a remote module that uses MIDI to link into the main module. With the added module, you are able to assign different sounds to the added cymbals and toms, just like you would with the standard module. Everything mounts up to the stock rack. Just had to tweak things here and there to make it work. Thanks for the questions!
very very nice... best I have seen. I saw Steve Smith video discuss the left hand high-hat,and the progression of the cymbal rhythm. Thanks for teaching us all!
@jmc3720 Thank you ! I saw the Steve Smith Video as well after I had been trying to figure out the correct technique and patterns for playing this song on my own. I would like to go back and record it again... I think I have improved on it since recording this version.
Awesome job! I know this is one of the hardest songs to master using your left hand on the hats. Keep it up dude as I too am learning it and refining as I go. I really luv bugernets videos as they help me a lot. Cheers to you.....
Thanks, I agree with you, It is best to play it the proper way and gain that control of being able to use the left hand. I am still working on it and I know it will help make me a more versatile drummer in the long run.
Good, don't take any short cuts u can't grow as a player! A lot of guy's don't listen! The adage "a true wise man has more questions than answers" This applies to all aspects in life, even drumming! there are a lot of skilled drummers, take advantage of their experience.
I use a remote high hat on my right side for some songs. It can get the job done, but when I originally started playing this song, I thought it was being played on a remote high hat, but I later figured out that it wasn't. When playing it on the remote hats, it caused me to miss some of the notes on the toms. For me, I just started practicing keeping time with my left hand on the high hat. I am still working on it. This song is a really good song to exercise the left hand for timing.
Thanks for the compliments ! I really enjoy playing this song. I have a hard time with my left hand playing the high hat, but I will keep working at it....
Thanks ! I can't speak for others, but the reason I didn't record it on my acoustic drums is because I don't have them mic'ed at this time. I plan to do some acoustic stuff as soon as I get a chance to get everything set up.

How did you mount all that stuff onto the rack? Its tiny!
Also, did you buy the drum modules and cymbals separately with all necessary mounting hardware?
Finally, How did you get it all to fit in the sound module?
