Kolb will want to be traded to seattle or SF, but SF might keep alex smith with the year he had last season. and they can get amare near the NBA trade deadline

The 76ers are pretty good at home. They did beat the Bulls by 15 so congrats to Philly fans on another W. My heat got owned by the Bucks again. The superbowl will be good. I say Patriots will win another one with Brady and Bellicheck.

The NBA world would be WAAAAAYYYY different if Superstar Treatment never existed. There would be a lot more parody in the league. Just like the MLB you never know who will be the champ. Some teams are stacked and some aren't, but the ones who play the game the right way mainly come out on top. Refs make honest mistakes there, but no Superstar Treatment. The NFL was the same until all these QB friendly rules came in (Superstar Treatment).

Marketing the casual fans always ruins the product.

event, just in case you didn't know already, Carlos Boozer is one of the biggest busts the bulls have ever had (jay williams is up there to). He's a decent shooter (sucked agains the heat), but he can't rebound, which makes no sense considering the body he has. His defense sucks too. GODDAMN, he's a pussy on the rebounds. I mean, his kids were rooting for the heat. When his kids want the heat to win, you know he's bad.

I wasn't impressed with him last season, and even though he has made some serious coaching mistakes this season (during the games, like how to adjust on certain teams) but he's doing a good job for the players he has. I still think he should have pressed for bigger, more physical talent.

I was very hard on the flyers in the offseason when they made all their changes, and I still stand by my statement "if they don't beat last years winning record, all the moves would have been for nothing". The Phillies are doing what they have to do to make another run for a WS. Eagles and Sixers haven't been nowhere close to winning a championship, compared to Phillies and Flyers.

I agree, the rumors of Peyton aren't quality much. However, he was cleared to get back on the field as of today. Now there's talks of the Cardinals getting him (Kolb done already?) As for the Sixers, we will definitely need some size to compete in the playoffs. Getting either of those two would help, because if don't trust the trio of Brand, Battie and Elson (all aging quickly) to battle constantly with those big, physical, young guys.

I agree, I think Iggy would be moved if we got Amare. Even though many feel Iggy is playing great, he's only averaging a little under 13 pts a game which is not big time numbers. Most points off the break though.

The NBA refs has always let it be known they hunt for certain players at times. The refs admitted this when Iverson cursed one of them out before, and they decided to take it into their own hands. That interview is still around somewhere, but yet Stern does nothing about it.

Amare was an Iso player last year and this year, regardless how bad he's playing. But I agree, he was best at pick and roll, when you have a PG who can effectively distribute the ball to him. I really don't think Davis can fill the shoes like a Nash, to help Amare out.

I totally agree with your comment about the Knicks. I have never really liked their current coach, but the team does show some potential and have a very strong fan base. Besides, it's getting time for the Knicks to be a serious contender. They've had enough time to build that team in my opinion.
