What most people just don't know is that budgies and cockatiels are very very very social animals, and if there is a budgie with a budgie or a cockatiel with a cockatiel, they wont pay much attention to you, but if you just get one, its all about you to the little guy. Everyone thinks they have to have a buddy, but to them, you're one.

I had a budgie, her name was roxee. She was always quiet unless I talked to her, then she would always chirp back, like she knew what I was saying or atleast knew I was talking to her. She would always get on my finger too when id put my hand in the cage, and I was the only one she would ever listen to. I miss her. R.I.P. Roxee

You may want to have the blue chested Budgie checked. Look's like it's carrying an egg, egg bound or is just plucking it's feather's from it's rear. Either way I'd have it checked. I lost one of Budgies after having her for over 6 yrs. Her rear was swollen and she was pulling feather's. Thought she was egg bound but ended up that she had a tumor. I lost her partner in January after having him for 11 years. It's a sad thing and I'm still heart broken. Please have her looked at.
