i sure would love to know if they were working on a new cd right now! i have the Self Titled, and its just WOW!! it really sounds like the great 70s guitar rock and Zeppelin!! of the newer rock bands that have the good ol 70s rock sound they are Wolfmother, Jet, and i think even the Fratellis have a older sound to them as well. Franz do too i guess, haven't really noticed. but i like the Killers as well, even tho they sound more 80s rock.

Wolfmother is the best band ever, maybe likewise would be Franz Ferdinand. They both have their own persistent style, which is different from most of all new bands out there. On the record I especially like "Where eagles have been", "minds eye", and " joker and the thief". Wolfmother rocks harder than i would imagine was ever possible! Along with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Franz Ferdinand they're best modern rock bands. (Or should I say only)

They bring back Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath, AC/DC (Well, in riffs) ... and many other classic rock bands mixed which I like very much .
