So this is what i do.:

1. Cut cord next too jack in half

2. get a jack and burn the end of the wire too get the filliment off

3. Twist the corresponding wires from the bud and cord together

4. Tape up the cord.

Is that right?

Also can u use the jack from the original headphones?

I was thinking of fixing it like the way you did in the vid, but the problem is, the first headphone's jack is a single corded one, where the second is a flat double cord. Can I still fix it?
