Japan has the most formidable Navy, its iron fist lays quiet and deadly under waters. Japan developed the technology and built the first authonomous infantry androids. There is a military unit in Japan called "the Schwartz platoon" a real terminator.
@TheHm3 I am happy they are our allies. You know the Hiroshima and Nagasaki detonation convinced the Emperor to capitulate, otherwise the Japan Imperial Navy would have deployed the AEGIS system shortly (MI6 estimated opperational in 6 weeks) and today we would all speak German and Japanese. The AEGIS we have today is a product of Japan in 1943.
@RomanicusMaximus Germany wasn't even able to cross the channel to invade the Brits. Operation Sea Lion (Nazi Invation of UK) was a bust. So how do you figure that the Nazis couldn't conquer an island a few miles of the coast of their conquered territories, and expect them to cross AN OCEAN for a military campaign!! Defending ones territory is on hell of a lot easier than invading hostile territory. Just think about it!
@airvallejo I surely disagree with your anecdotal opinion. The Nazis, while I do not condone any of their actions, had the most formidable military of its time. I remain grateful to our heroes who defeated the Nazi, but one cannot disregard the human toll it took to accomplish such a task. Not the same can be said about the Imperial Japan. Without the two atomic blasts, we could never defeat them. Their secret research enabled us to walk the Moon and build the most advanced military in history.
@RomanicusMaximus Nobody is disregarding anything. the argument is simple. America wasn't at any risk from the western front only the eastern front was an issue. Nazi germany had too much to strugle before even thinking an invasion to different continent. Now the empire had the guts and audacity to attack first. But there was no inminet threat of invasion to the mainland. Probably hawaii was going to be lost but that's as much as they could go.
@airvallejo the NAZIS had technology, the Japanese not, Japanese technology is based on copy and little improvement, but nothing extraordinary, it is the Americans and Europeans and Russians that invent most things, this plane is a copy of F16, you can tell right away, whereas the Israeli Lavi was a much improved and innovative copy of the F16 frame, and with unique features that the F16 did not have
@RomanicusMaximus My point is that, the propaganda of an axis invasion was and still is completely unfounded. Yes the Nazis and the Japanese had good technology but theres's this false sense that they were incredibly advanced compared with the rest of the western world. U.S. and Allied tech was almost as good and in some cases better.
@airvallejo but they were incredibly advanced and the fast invasion of Europe and conquer of Europe by Nazis can noe be compared only with the fast invasion of US troops in Iraq's first war; keeping in mind Hitler did not use air power to soften the enemy!

Nevertheless, Japan is on the Leading Edge of military technologies; just imagine a full batallion of these robots they are developing today.
