The Nuremburg defense is, I agree, overused. It "should" be no defense at all.

What must happen first is for officers and soldiers to stop following unconstitutional orders in large numbers, and be acquitted for that. THEN the prosecutions for following bad orders can follow.

What I find astounding is the complete disconnect between driving high-power cars, with pistols and tazers and shotguns and who-knows-what in the trunk (machine guns in some jurisdictions), along with near complete immunity for what actions they choose to take...

ok, i feel obligated to speak up. The problem with law enforcers are the law makers. I think you ought to focus just a little more on the master of puppets rather than the puppets themselves. However, I do realize this particular cop really hurt a cuffed man, which is a cowardly move that must be punished!

Law enforcement officers are not what they used to be, and the same is true for the law makers. Both are our servants, both are paid by us with our money, and both have become corrupt. So now, instead of being their masters we are their slaves. I agree with what you are doing, I wish I could join you sooner.
