  • Thanks for the videos guys (especially the rolling technique one), it cut my painting time way down

And sorry for going off on a tangent... but why are people commenting on their clothing? This isn't a runway show! Sometimes I wonder how you turnips manage to breathe on your own. Don't watch video's on painting techniques if you think you can do better!

  • I dont know why ive never thought off reshaping - Thats sorted me out big time. Thanking you :)

  • That has sorted me out a right treat! Thankin you

  • That nap looks pretty well matted to begin with, and then you have to cut the crusty old edges off? I feel bad for whoever got ripped off by this wannabe!

  • @1yrros We bevel brand new covers the same way. Then after we use that brand new beveled cover for the first time, we bevel it again.

  • what pro uses a roller tray scrub?

  • @chingarespecto You have a lot to learn.

  • @MrSueravey wow I posted that months ago, didn't know douche bags still talk shit onhere but obviously they do if u just posted that.

  • Ok, your marinating your roller nap on a ceramic tile floor with no drop cloth down.. Your very brave..looks very unprofessional and sloppy!! when you go to give an estimate wearing whites would make you look more professional.. lets face it any one can roll a wall, would have to agree with every one..seen Painters like you a dime A dozen..Keep up the Great work..lol

  • @WWITful i agree ..he dont look professional at all. who are these clowns?

  • Out of all the "professional" painters on here, ur the best one. All the other guys are jokes. Great job!5/5

  • @awsome2theblossom u his BEST buddy or something? get real mush!!

  • Oooh there's a Vicodin in the corner...

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • white painter pants suck so bad they shrink everything is so noticeable and you look like a bum wearing them the key is painting in something u feel comfortable with shorts jeans underwear whatever

  • those rollers suck so bad LOL

  • iam not talking about marshmallow suit i talking about white pants. no it dont make you a better painter but presentable as a painter iam just giving you a hard time! ive seen your other videos and ill say your a 1st class painter thumbs up man!

  • where's your whites your dressed like a dumpster diver

  • I dont wear those silly white costumes. I think guys wear them to keep paint off their clothing but I dont have that issue. Do they make you a better painter by wearing them?

  • @TheSHCS maybe not but if i turned up looking like a handyman/hill billy im sure the customer is gonna think "what have we got here" .

  • I guess I could have used sharp scissors

  • just dampen the roller a little with water before painting instead of waiting for the roller to "marinate" as you call it, who has time for that. And you shouldnt have a need to cut the edges of a cover for roll lines, most quality covers all ready have tapered edges. A wooster 3/4 nap lambskin will work for almost any wall texture.

  • Watch and learn. That cover I was cutting was a Wooster 1/2" SuperFab, If I didnt think it needed modified I would not have wasted the time making this video. There are many advantages to reshaping. Lambskin is not for fine finish work on smooth walls buddy. And you still need to load a wet cover. Do you even paint?

  • Nice tip! I'll give it a go!

  • helps reduce roller marks allows for better blending

  • Is this to reduce lines in the wall? About how much paint should you put on the roller each time, is there a rule of thumb?
