I've never gotten why Elijah doesn't have an English accent (more like an 1800s American English way of pronouncing words) but Klaus has an obvious one.

@puddingmaster2 well he kind of does but remember elijah is supposed to be elijah smith, i imagine he makes people believe he is american and he's been living there for a long time, i guess thats why he had the accent in flashbacks but not anymore, same with katherine when she used to live in england, she had the accent but not anymore cuz she moved to the US

Elijah has to be the most classy vampire to date. Gentleman, polite, keeps his word (most of the time lol), dresses with style, doesn't get his vampire eyes/fangs out with anyone around, charmer, you name it.
