To all of you who are advanced violin players? How difficult will it be for me who is 47 years old to learn? I am a classical pianist and classical guitarist. Also teaching my self the Ukulele and trumpet. What do I need to know when I start? Thanks for any tips.
@AngelikavonDeutschla No problem if you already play an instrument you have a head start. I started playing seriously at age 41 after playing guitar for 20+ yrs. The main challenges I found was controlling the bow and developing good pitch with the ear. There are no frets so it's a scary trip for guitarists. Just try, I found it very infectious.
