Hey Sesame Street never had a follow up of this video of "down's" opposite "up". They could very well have used the same Raposo score but have it build up in tempo, and whoever did the voiceover for this could keep saying "up" raising the pitch of his voice. That would have been hilarious. xD
My favorite part is the girls in the swimming pool. That looks like it was shot in California, with those palm trees in the background. Or maybe it was Florida? Does anyone know? Most Sesame Street stuff was shot in New York where it was made so that's kind of unusual.
@maidenrulz1 If you actually look at that part with the girls in the swimming pool, it sort of looks like almost the same setting for the film of the guy doing the 18 backflips. Not really sure, just a thought?
This will go 'down' in history as one of my favorite Sesame Street clips. The last shot - the figure skater falling on his deriere - I seem to associate most with when I think of this clip. Why - even I'm trying to figure that one out!
I recognize some of the film footage in this film. There's the kids in snow from the kids playing in snow film, the penguin from one of the various penguin films,
Maybe it's Gary Owens?

This guy must be feeling DOWN in the dumps. The pitch of his voice keeps going DOWN every time he says "DOWN."

@wattamack4 I believe it's voice actor Thurl Ravenscroft.

@raakone The last few "down"s remind me of the voice of Brian Mulroney, although it certainly isn't him.
