It's not a real Highland Pipe, it's a MIDI synthesizer version of a pipe. All the embellishments are slow and mechanically precise and it's to fast to be piobaireachd. We use a nearly identical program to help learn tunes in our pipe band. Cool tune, though I doubt it's a real one. My guess is that someone in the sound staff heard a piper playing a tune and regurgitated it from memory using the synthesizer.

if it's intended to sound like the highland bagpipe, it sounds pretty computer generated..

my guess is that it was just a song made for this episode.

BUT it could be a tune played on a different kind of bagpipe, I just don't know the tune if thats the case.
