LUK 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
ROM 12:19-13:2 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Though, it had such negative consequences and the sacrifice of the dignity of other races through European force and violence(whether they are Christian or not God knew this would happen), and many Christians have not successfully dealt with that.
@Shotosboring1stpick Of course there has always been evil in the world and the vast majority of people twist doctrine and ignore all of scripture to justify their own lustful ways... Where did you get the impression that God didn't know that would happen... Jesus prophesied that that would happen...
Obviously the weapons & armor is a metaphor, though there are parts of the story where Jesus told his disciples to buy swords. And then there's self-defense, and what if your family is in trouble? And how about Japeth? Isn't his people suppose to expand throughout the world and share the bible?
@Shotosboring1stpick You call the armour a metaphor... I believe it's greater than any armour in this world. What if your family is in trouble. Well God says a man that doesn't look after his family is worse than anything...but should you kill? Note Japeth is OT...Jesus fulfilled all promises of the OT and indeed His Word is spoken throughout the world. As for Jesus telling his disciples to buy swords...I cover that in this video...
The constitution says it is from God.
I don't agree with your suggestion that they are not Christian, because they have guns.
