@nourddinexfx Well you gotta make sure there's a tracer dart attached to the enemy helicopter and then all you have to do is zoom in with your rocket launcher to the orange square which will appear, until it stops flickering and then you shoot. You can see this in the video as well

Dropping smoke in the windows of the enemies base can be really effective, same for destroying whole walls, with like 3 enemies inside.

I think the way that the Cod games can improve is by destructible environments in this game they are done really well, and it introduces a new dynamic to combat, which can make gun fights properly tactical.

@omenakookos the RPG is the best ay. the AT-4 does the most dmage. the M@ has the largest kill radius and reload speed. the rpg is the in-between one and is just amazing. good for killing tanks, can lock on to choopers and is relatively good at killing infantry.

1, why bother leading just get the next rocket launcher it is guided by you, so much easier, 2, no need to trace targets just fire and make the rocket travel to the target, 3 you can more accurately (and while moving) snipe out snipers with the next rocket launcher, 4 you can kill campers as well, 5 more accurately kill infantry, 6 more accurately take out UAV pilots/ UAV vehicle, 7 take out choppers even while they take off and begin to fly not just while sitting abouttotakeoff, moretosay...

you can dodge traces if you loose them on a building or in the water or just plain out make a hard turn in the apache. you can also use flairs with the vehicle smoke upgrade.

Tracer rocket doesn't always hit, I've dodged missiles before that had tracers on me, in the Apache of course (easy to maneuver)

Using CG is not at all hard, infact all noobs get drawn to it, almost worse than the 40MMGL, the fact that you're playin a console version (360/PS3) makes it even easier, those shots is not this easy on the PC when the chopper is NOT flying in a straight line....

The only things I object to in this video are the advice on firing into Enemy spawn to take out the chopper and the anti infantry because that is lame. I don't play rush so UAV operator killing in their base might be a necessary evil.

@gamecritic7 Both the Gustav and the RPG-7 come with built in *support* for the tracer dart. You fire tracer darts with the tracer dart gun (it's listed under hand guns).

You can tag enemy vehicles and infantry with it. Once tagged, a little red box will indicate the target for 45 seconds. Aim at it while scoped, wait for the distance meter to appear beneath it, and fire away. Your rockets will automatically lock on it.

Vehicles can use the smoke spec to remove a tracer dart.

I tend to prefer the RPG over the CG, simply because the RPG does more damage against vehicles. You still get the ridiculous kills if you're up high, but you can't be accused of a noob if you just happen to take out a medic or two.

@Bear261186 for start is had waaaay less recoil than the others. and also it seems to shoot the rocket alot faster. like the rocket will fire basically immidiatly, whereas the AT4 for example seems to be a bit slower in firing.

Ever since they made the tracer faster this thing has lost it's use fighting choppers. The rpg 7 can lock on to them and always hit, and if your fighting tanks the gustav is just weak. Plus they also made the damage weaker on infantry.

1. The missiles will not always hit on a lock on... They will almost every time, but some times they will just fly in circles around stuff till they blow up.

2. You failed to show how you can shoot around/over objects using the lock on

3.Can't forget to trace snipers and then hit them with the lock on, real easy where the tracer has almost no drop.

4. You didn't show it being used to shoot down a UAV.... Your not good till you can do that :P

@Vunk if you aiming at a building or vehicle and you get surprised by infantry its better to waste them with CG than switch to a more "honorable" weapon, but using it to flush out snipers or bag infantry as a go-to weapon is cheap. Problem is this is a game and not real life, so as I gamer I say exploit the CG, but in real life you dont waste a rocket on a man, typically, you would not carry very many. This is not real life its a game, so there is no honor here. Its cheap, but is not wrong.

Pretty nice, But you should've added more kills with the M2 Carl Gustov against the enemy turrets. In example, the stationary turrets that have a protective shield in the front, as you get a destroy vehicle bonus for killing them too.

i use the carl gustav for everything, its fast, accurate, and does its job. The only thing i find it ineffective for is taking out heavy armor such as t90's and m1a1's. it lacks the firepower needed to take out tanks quickly, almost as if firing a potato gun at the tank. needless to say my favorite rocket launcher in the game

Only the CG and the RPG have the ability to lock on to a tracered target. Neither of them do it by default. The AT4 is wire guided and acts like the TOW missiles.
