you guys are fucked yes NOFX rules but fat mike isnt anything special in the gimme gimmies he's just a bass player and thats it, What makes the Gimme Gimmies sweet is its a bunch of punk bands combined to make a super awesomeness Punk cover band... me personally wouldnt want to here NOFX doing a bunch of covers it would sound weird and would be sad because that would mean there getting so old they cant make a 4 chord progression with lyrics about drugs booze and lesbian sluts with strapons

@BananaGuns1 Well their Rancid covers on the BYO split are pretty damn good. And just because a band does covers doesn't mean they've ran out of ideas. Can you honestly say you expect NOFX to EVER run out of ideas lol?

With or without Melvin the Gimmes sound great. The Gimmes

are able to sound both tighter and looser than NOFX...they are

loose and super tight at the same time. This is due to the fact

that they are all super talented musicians and both drummers keep

really good time. That's how you build a great sound...great harmonies

also and Spike is the shit, great singer.

Not the best recording but great cover. Love the gimme gimmes, I always think their covers would sound better if NOFX did them though. I know it's got Mike and Melvin from NOFX in the band but it aint the same!
